I'm off creatine for a while. I have a bag of dextrose lying around. Is it still a good choice to drink it PWO for my insulin spike even w/o creatine? Then whole foods shortly after, of course. Thanks fella's.

No need to.
If you're extremly skinny it's ok. If you get fat easily, just whey protein or BCAA will spike insulin too.
