Try Glucosamine with MSM.  Source Naturals is a good brand, but there are many out there.

twinlab's joint fuel

I don't think this is an economical product.

Container Size: 60 Capsules
Serving Size: 3 Capsules
Servings Per Container: 20

Amount Per Serving:

Vitamin C: 500 mg
Vitamin E: 400 IU
Zinc: 15 mg
Selenium: 99 mcg
Glucosamine Sulfate: 750 mg
Chondroitin Sulfate: 50 mg

Tumeric Rhizome Extract: 351 mcg
Quercetin Dihydrate: 50 mg
Bromelain: 100 mg

Vitamin C & E are cheap, however, they're the most dominent ingredients in this expensive product.  Secondly, the daily recommended amount of  Glucosamine is 1500mg - no more - no less.  This is what scientific studies have shown to work.  Chondroitin should be 1200mg/day, however, I don't currently recommend that for men due to some possible prostate issues.

at $32.50 (BB'g.com) for 120 caps = 20 days (to get 1500mg Glucosamine), there are better options available.

If the joint pain if a strained tendon, I like Magnesium (citrate, malate or glycinate). Magnesium makes tendons more flexible.

Enzymes like bromelain and serrapeptase are good too.

DMSO is a sulfur compound that has powerful antioxidant effects and kills pain. This gets rubbed right on the joint.

Anything needed for collagen production will be beneficial: zinc, copper, silicon, sulfur, manganese, vitamin C, oligomeric proanthocyanidins (grape seed extract, pinebark extract, bilberry), Arginine, Glycine

Go to www.glcdirect.com (http://www.glcdirect.com)  Absoluitely the best joint formula on the market bar none.  It was developed years ago for race horses.  They now make a formula for humans.  It is awesome.  They sponsored a show of mine and the people loved the stuff.  I used to sell a ton of it from my store.  It is by far the best you can buy

keith, i used glc for quite a time, but got better results with twinlab.  i also tried schiff's joint care (supposedly big ron uses it) but again twinlab gives me a better feeling.
