Title: The Chris Cormier Comeback
Post by: Colossus_1986 on January 26, 2007, 11:22:55 AM
I for one would like to see Chris come back strong and win a show this year.
Maybe with a physique like this:

can he do it? i freakin hope so...(cause his last few years were pathetic attempts to say the least)

if you got any news...or pics...post it here!

It's amazing that Chris can just walk on the stage and be top five in the world:

Talk about genetics.

yeah but the last few shows he did...you wouldn't think that.
i hope he wins a show this year...hits top 5 at the Olympia and probably win the arnold in 08...this would take alot of hard work, but if he does it i suggest he retires soon after. while on top.

he IS getting older too so he doesn't have much time...how old is he now?

Compared to Ronnie Coleman, he's freaking John Stuart Mill.

How can it be a comeback when a person never even announces(d) their retirement?

Give Chris time to get back up to speed.  There are several pro shows he can do to qualify for the O this year, some of which occur in September.  He'll come back.  He needs the time to do it.

He will be 40 in August.  Ronnie was at his lifetime best in 2003 at the same age Chris is now.
Ronnie achieved his lifetime best in 1998 or 99 depending.
2003 was his biggest, I would definatley not say his best.
Unless you mean total domination of the field, in which case I would agree.

You all sure he's making a COMEBACK to the competitive BODYBUILDING stage? How do you know when he stated he is making a 'COMEBACK' that he didn't mean that he is making a 'comeback' to Cingular Wireless and dropping Verizon?

Lets get the facts straight, people. Let's not give wrong information out here.

My sources informed me that Chris is making a COMEBACK to Cungular since the OUT-OF-STATE and roaming charges are a little bit better priced and the deal where you buy ONE phone you get 2 FREE with two extra numbers for an additional $19.99/ month with unlimited text-messaging and FREE 'call me' minutes and 10 hip/hop ring tones...was just too great.

His days with Verizon are over. I did hear, though...that he has been bodybuilding again in that drama infested, distraction filled soft-core gym...Golds, in Venice/California.

shapa snd size wise. chris is pobably one of the best bodybuilders ever to grace the stage. he had no weakness' . his biggest problem was dialing in for shows and water retention. hopefully he can make a successful comeback. if not, he had a good run/career. he has nothing to be ashamed. i just think that if he would train as hard as he (alledged) partied he would have won a sandow too.

Well...'that's just one WHITE MANS opinion'...

The truth is...his problem has always been his desire to be a part of the drama and live the sterotypical life of white mistresses, baby mama drama, BET Channel and hip/hop. It's like he had to pay his dues to get 'street cred' in his 'community'.

Imagine if he had the mindset of a Dorian, a Jay or a Ronnie? Isolating themselves, staying away from the nonsense. Wow...he could have been a Olympian at least 3 times.

 Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda.

Yep, thats the answer. I have NO DOUBT he can physically do that or better again at his age, or even older. BUT, can he do it mentally?

I sure hope so.

D

ahh have faith in the guy :)
