Title: Cardio PM to Cardio AM...Made the switch. What changes will i see?
Post by: BigNBloated on January 29, 2007, 06:18:39 AM
I recently manned up and started cardio in the morning this week after 4 weeks of cardio after I lifted in the evenings. Will the change be very noticable? Just curious if I should be excited to see better results, being that my diet and rest are all the same and in line. Also how soon after should I eat and what should my nutrition look like. I have to zoom straight to work so I downed a muscle milk this morning right afterward. Good idea?

You're probably not going to notice too much of a difference.  Your metabolism will be slightly elevated during the day if your morning cardio is intense.  However, pay attention to how your evening workouts are affected.  Because if you're getting less sleep because of this new plan, you might be more tired during the day and your workouts might suffer - in which case, doing the morning cardio will have a negative impact on your progress.

Another note is that your breakfast/meal after your morning cardio, should be one of your biggest meals of the day (whether you do cardio in the morning or not), so a Muscle Milk RTD is probably not cutting it!

shit, i was hoping for massive cuts in the upcoming weeks ;D Guess ill have to settle for water retentive and thick skin. My evening workouts are ok after the morning cardio but i gotta try and get more sleep. Fucking working and going to school is a god damn drag. Everyone says cardio is best in the morning but apparently not that much more important. Im getting liquid redline tomarrow in the mail so Ill be amped and ready to go.
