Any activity between consenting adults is ok in my book. MD is going where the money is and they aren't committing any crimes against liberty, so I can't say I have a moral qualm with what they are doing by my own moral framework. However, they were always priding themselves in not being sellouts and doing things like putting scary looking black dudes on the cover who obviously wouldn't help sell more magazines rather than pretty white boys like Gunter, just to "keep it real" and here they are being sellouts. That is kind of hypocritical to me.

I can also think of ways to market Trey or show him as a serious trainer and BB and serious 'athlete' who takes his craft serious as 'we should'.

Is homosexuality genetic? The indoctrination of my generation is to accept this as fact without thinking about the issue critically but I can't accept anything like that. I don't believe that a homosexual person has the choice in feeling as they do, but I'm trying to find compelling evidence that it is genetic. My current view is that it is a maladaptive trait but routed in genes somewhere. One of my gay friends didn't actually realize it until he was around 20. I think that was due to social construction of sexuality while as males we are programmed to believe we should be attracted to women. I think it created cognitive dissonance in his case which took many years of uncertainty to overcome.

(personally, I think it is degrading for athletes to be judged while wearing high heel shoes) The more erotic it becomes, the fewer regular fans will attend. There are not enough schmoes around to fill those seats.

First it is just an age thing. Second it's your genetics.
Most 20 somethings are twinks. They're young and lean and generally have less body hair, less facial hair. As you get older the average guy becomes more bearish. They become heavier, hairier, more likely to have a beard.
However, there are some 20 year olds who are quite bearish, and many 40 year olds who could never pull off the bear thing.
Bears and twinks rarely socialize together. Again, that's mostly an age thing.

I love the way you guys opine as if you were experts on the gay market. I am openly gay so let me clue you in: Trey is not being marketed to gay guys. At the risk of speaking for all gay men, if we were inclined to do so, we are perfectly comfortable going to a porn shop and buying/renting all the hardcore muscle porn we want so softcore pix and training videos of Trey aren’t going to get any gay man excited.
There are, however, tons of closeted, bi curious, and emotionally stunted men out there that eat this stuff up. Like Ted Haggard, this population can’t accept or reconcile their impulses so they satisfy themselves with “training” videos and pix of guys like Trey.
