Look, Phil Heath is impressive (although he needs to shrink the obliques and go the Levrone route and over-develop the delts to make up for his narrow structure) but anyone who's willing to call himself "the gift" is not someone I'm ever buying a dvd from.

Personally, if I trained like that I wouldn't even consider releasing a video. Are those really his workouts or is he just trying to get a pump for the camera? I can't seem to figure it out.

It ain't Blood and Guts, that's for sure...

Could you tell us exactly what is the "new level" that's been reached with this DVD?

A new level of income for Phil?

form,,weights everythings is good,,but all i see is thickness,,will have to come with the sharpest condition on earth to take the arnold because the upper torso chest shoulders lats is at the national level,,the arms are what gave him a pro card

gotta get wider or be the sharpest on stage and that means sharper than dex and it is usually impossible

I have to say...I agree w/ GH15.

Phil is one of my favorites. By far! However...if he had slight more thickness in the chest/back and a little bit more legs...he'd be fkn so hard to beat even by the TOP guys. If he gets more diced than DEXTER and as dry as Yates was able to? Holy cow...this fker would be unbeatable.

if you're judging by this video, you're wrong.phil took the whole year off after his 2 pro shows,so i think so he might have improved upon himself by now

I'm sure he will look better from taking time off but he still needs to bring up his legs a little and add 3-5lbs spread evenly through his chest/back.

Then come in w/ a conditioning that rivals Dexter and dryness that rivals Yates.

Heath will be the last man standing. And in doing so, he will usher in the end of the Age of Dexter.

He can never win a top level show, where is the gut? why do his arms have definition? no gyno? if more bodybuilders looked like and acted like phil this sport might go somewhere, but as long as there are guy roaming the stages with waists like a pregnant women, and having the idea that "all" size is good size, we are screwed.

As far as the training, seen it all before, I would like to see more about body builders day to day lives, diets, stuff like that, kinda like the war for the worlds.

which magnifys the size of his arms...

Wow you guys are really bored today.

Bust on the dude on ya want but you can't deny results, he's accomplished more then any of us on this thread have in bodybuilding and this is only his second year as a pro.

I'd spend my money on a DVD that has a winner talking and showing his training vs. some clown trying to throw heavy ass weight around that'll never win a pro show.

AH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Niiiiiice little dig there. Now who would you be speaking about?

Goes to show...super heavy ass weights aren't necessairly required to build a quality physique.

Phil has TOP NOTCH genetics, yes but he has a more of a moderate weight for moderate-high reps...no spotter required approach to training.

Phil is undefeated...every show he entered...he WON!  He became a PRO in 3 shows.

 Like 240 says...this generations 'Levrone'.

Still...constructive criticism from a 'keyboard jockey'. 5-7lbs of pure muscle spread out all over his body...and a crispness to rival a Dexter and this mthrfkr is a threat to the TOP 3 at the ASC/Olympia.

Get the music from the trailer recorded one more time. It makes the DVD seem very unprofessional.

Huh?

Where's the grainy b&w cinematography to connote true hardcoreness? Where's the Birmingham-accented training partner screaming, "YAH, DIESEL! SQUEEZE IT, BIG MAN!" ?

I don't know about you - but these are important factors in my DVD purchasing decisions.

He needs to strap himself to a nautilus pullover machine for 2 years...

his arms are doing all the work on his torso movements plain and simple.

Usually I pass by these posts, but after watching the ROM and weight used - I am beginning to wonder if his Hyper-responding to drugs is really the best thing he's got going for him.  If we trained the way he does, we'd look like crap.
