Mindspin is a good guy. Whenever I've had any questions regarding training and nutrition he has been more than happy to help out. I think he's a real great asset to this board.

Mindspin,
How is Dr. Connelly doing? I recall that he wasn't doing so well health wise. Has he recovered back to full strength?

Back in the day I used to post on the Met-Rx board where I had a chance to know BillyCarp (RIP). Mindspin was good friends with him and both of them were always helpful when it came to answering questions about training and nutrition.

Funny you ask...I just got off the phone with him. He's found a new hobby...planes! He owns 4-5 and flys every day.
Sometime this year, look for a new product launch from Connelly. It would have happened last year, but Billy's passing put everything on hold.
Time to unplug. Squadfather, I'm sure you have nothing better to do, so please keep an eye on the board for me overnight...ha ha!!

"I'm not really a powerlifter or a bodybuilder... I just love to lift weights. I've been lifting for around 18 years. I'm interested in practical power and strength. As for your initial statement, it's just not true. I felt this exercise all over, including back, traps, shoulders and arms."

Jump squats help build explosive ability, and are a valuble asset to any athlete who emphasizes speed/power.
