Plus, seeing as he has singlehandedly redefined his real-life on getbig just to dispel the 9/11 argument, I think he's either a really stupid person, or something is wrong with him. Either way, he's back on the no-talk list. He's just a waste of time.

I have a hard time believing that a college professor (which he claims to be) wouldn't understand an MBA. Of course, the next week, he suddenly has a whole class full of them, and they all mock 911.

I agree, and to be honest I was trying to be amusing. It does seem like he had to go and find quite a few of 240's posts, although considering how much 240 posts that probably wasn't too difficult.

Yes, I admire his passion for the causes he believes in, and respect his right to debate accordingly. However, I do have a problem with him telling people they don't 'understand' simply because they disagree with him. He should consider using logic and facts to reason with people - not dismiss them because they have different views. I'll think you'll find this is more rhetoric than healthy debate.

You know who was really good at that? Johnny Apollo. He might have been before your time however. We all ran him off the Getbig boards, he was a real ass most of the time, but a real good debater.

I try to have data to back up everything I say.
I get frustrated when people will debate a topic without facts, then when presented with facts, will just disappear. Or they'll throw a red herring. or they'll ask ten new questions without addressing the original.

Precisely, BB. Rob knows I haven't used any mistruths here or even taken any of his quotes out of context. All his posts are there for people to see and read and draw their own conclusions. If we can show Rob that this style of dismissing challenges from other members on this board is an unacceptable method of debate then we have achieved something positive.

I try not get upset about anything on this forum. A little debate here and there is pretty healthy, but attacks based on difference in opinion aren't. I think 240 has let people like BeachBum get under his skin to the point where it's making him upset. I cannot speak for others, but I've seen people get upset before. I remember when Mr. Intestone left for like a week because he was upset over some of the debates on Iraq and 9/11.

Sure, but I'm not attacking Rob, I haven't called him one name, insulted him, or even told him his opinions are irrelevant. All I've done is used his own words to make a point about the way he operates in this board. My intentions are certainly not to drive anyone from this board, I enjoy debating the whole spectrum of issues here with each one of you.
