anyone familiar with it? Costs, websites to use/avoid, etc?
I just want to be able to receive faxes and pay a fee without the messy machine. Anyone have experience with it?

240 I use efax, infact have a few E-fax numbers. you can get it free or you can get the paid service.
Works great. I love it, ...been using it for the past 9 years. No more being awoken at 3 am to receive a 30 page junk fax that uses up all your paper. ::)

What's 240 gonna ask next, "hey anyone fimiliar with this iTunes thing I just heard about?" ::)

LOL! yeah I got it set up in like 2 minutes.

eFax is legit - quality service.
I don't use them for sending anything, though.

I use it to. Very convinent and easy. The only problem is most of my faxes are contracts or something I need to sign and fax back. So I have to print it out then scan it into my computer and fax it off or email. But it isn;t that bad. Plus, you can print what faxes you want and you don;t have a bunch of papers laying around

e-fax sucks.....Trustfax is better...much better service, better prices, easier to use, faxed papers come as a pdf files...., no additional software needed to be installed...., no credit card verification ....

Keith,
There's a way around that.
Simply sign your signature, as well as initials with a fine point sharpee on a blank sheet of white paper, and fax it to yourself. When you receive it, simply cut & paste it into a stamp. You can convert any fax you receive into a Word doc, then simply insert your signature or initials wherever you need, convert to .pdf and you're good to go.

That's Jaguar!
You only get 20 free incoming faxes per month but that's really all I need for my clients.
Thanks again for the hookup!
