Well...actually, thats the topic: Mirko using PRIDE theme as UFC walk in song!!!!
Anyone else catch that? I cant decide if it was to say he was still part of PRIDE (on the sly) or a sort of FU to the PRIDE organization.
Any thoughts?

More like an FU to the UFC organization. He's already said he wants to fight Fedor on NYE in Japan. He's a Pride fighter at heart.

the ufc is selling themselves short by siging pride superstars; it simply underlines how lacking their product is in comparison
a smarter strategy would be to focus their $$$ on up and comers and getting more infostructure for their scouting program worldwide, and let pride fizzle out in 5 years
now pride will probably be able to say their boys are holding 2 belts in the ufc, and they werent holding belts (although mirko won the heavy grand prix) in pride

I've heard that that statement was retracted...that it wasn't Cro Cop that said it but one of his trainers. Haven't been able to find a good source either way but read that on Sherdog

IDK, but using Pride highlights, using a DSE trademarked song, saying that they are going to be getting every fighter they want, sounds like the UFC may have part ownership of DSE like it was formerly rumored.
