Nice to see that the pilots first concern on realising what they had done was that they might go to jail.

Heads should roll on both sides of the Atlantic for the cover up of this.

Their squadron was based in Idaho...what do you expect?

They checked with ground control as they were supposed to, but based on their own words, they doubted whether the targets were hostile.  They should've erred on the side of caution, but following the lead of their cowboy commander-in-chief, they decided to shoot first and let god figure the rest of this bullshit out.

whoa that's tough. that was 4 years ago, just think of all the friendly fire that has happend since then. Thats got to be the worst to be in that situation or any situation of war really. But that is how they are taught, kill now think later.

They were ordered to shoot.

The US govt "classified" the video.

Can you only imagine how much shit is classified, of this nature?

They should have waited for ground controll, they said they would shoot a marker in the given area to clear up any mistakes, they fucked up and they knew it, hear ed the guy sobbing at the end?
they did not got to prison, but I think their career came to an abrupt end.


On a sidenote.... best camera view of an A10 in actual combat.
