hahahahahaha, this one comes from the great king of partial reps "JPM"
Might try the following for a chance of pace...4 to 6 weeks and than go back to whatever you like for biceps.
Incline DB curls (suggested by DKI)..start with a hammer grip at bottom & twist on the way up..contract bicep at finish
EZ bar close grip curl, elbows braced against the sides
Zotterman DB curl
1 or 2 sets of 7-10 reps, each.
That reverse 135 for 8 is impressive. Reverse curls are a very over looked exercise for full bicep development, it is not just a forearm movement. Best I ever witnessed was 185lbs in a regular workout, but have heard of much more. Good Luck.
hahahaha, 185 pound reverse bb curls. ::)

the 1-arm pullups for reps is unlikely, unless he does them where his free arm holds the other one. not impossible, though. guy on my wrestling team in high school could do a few. but he only said he WITNESSED the 185 reverse curls, not that he did 'em.

I did them with one arm only.

I can chin with 2 45's and dips with 2 as well but my tris and back aren't that good. Weight is relative. I'm sure I could
clean reverse curl 135 easily. I can power clean 185 so I guess this wouldn't be out of the question. ;D

that's how I read it. That he saw someone do it, not that he did it himself. I have seen peope do a couple one arm pullups but like someone previously stated, the free hand wasn't hanging by his side but holding onto the other arm. In which case you KNOW he was pulling with that other side on the arm and claiming it was the one arm chin. A true one arm chin would have the free arm dangling.

And there about as pointless as a one arm push up
