At the US Embassy, visa enquiries have almost doubled in recent weeks, from 400 to about 800 a day. "There are normal spikes toward Christmas or another major holiday, but this increase doesn't fall into that category," said embassy spokesman Brian Penn.

On something like this it's no biggie I'm sure. It's cool with me, out of respect you might hit up the other mods with the question. Most likely Ron would have had you clear it with the forum mods if anything anyway and as far as just posting your link in the sig line any your profile, that's a common thing to do. There's really no rules against what you want to do. You know as far as I can see, you're just talking about chiming in a debate with a blog entry and bringing note to your other entries, go for it.
