i remember watching a clip and he talked about lifting 4 hours a day with 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at night, crazy fucker, im sure he did juice but thats alot of training

I remember reading a clip/article about him in the 90's. It was a leg training article. He said he would squat away entire afternoons drinking orange juice and eating chicken between sets.
He looked pretty good back in the day.

That's the only thing I remember. That stuck in my mind because I thought to myself: "How in the fuck could someone eat and drink between sets of squats?!?"

im not suprised ive eatin a couple boxes of dougnuts while working out also times where ive drank a few 2 liters of soda in the summer while lifting weigths

your body quickly digests food if you plan to workout 3 hours everything you eat gets digested kinda fast if you can keep up the pace of a workout something llike alot of standing militarys , bent over rows, standing barbell curls and squats would burn and digest food rapidly

massive is all i can say. he made a comeback last year. still looks awesome.

When it comes to legs? Yeah. Without a shadow of a doubt.
Platz didn't count reps on certain weight, he went by *time*. He would squat with 2XX for 10/20 minutes...straight! Insane.
Yeah...who could hang with that?

I heard that back when he was on top of the sport 1991-1992, that he was very serious and didnt really have much of a sense of humor. Jeramy Freeman told me that he met him during that time period in LA. Jeramy said that Gary was cool, but really didnt talk much or kid around...he was all work.

DUDE... WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO REALIZE THAT ALL OF THE ARTICLES AND JAW BONING FROM BB ARE ALL LIES.... EVEN ON JUICE THERE IS NO NEED TO WORK OUT LIKE THAT. THE REASON FOR TAKING JUICE IS SO THAT ONE DOES NOT HAVE TO WORK OUT LIKE A MAD MAN. THESE ARTICLES ARE WRITTEN TO SELL MAGAZINES AND SUPPLEMENTS. I HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO SEE AND MEET A NUMBER OF FAMOUS BB AND SEE THEM WORK OUT AND I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE HOW PALTRY THEIR WORK OUTS WERE. FEW BENCHING OVER 315 OR SQUATTING THE SAME.
