Who's got the best "Lazy Man's Diet"? I'm talking about quick & easy all the way around. Bodybuilding foods that take hardly any time to prepare. Gotta eat 5-6 times per day, but don't want to spend much time at all preparing it all.
I'm very curious to see what some of you guys could come up with for this!

I'll be interested to see the replies to your post. I have some ideas, but I'm too lazy to put them together in writing . .

hmmmm i take it this doesnt include whey powder or mrp's :)
id think microwaved potato and a can of fish is pretty quick , throw some sauce or seasoning on
there arent many quick ones i can think of , shame really cos im sick of cooking a million meals a day as i cant take a quick and easy protein shake >:(

Tuna, straight of the can.
cottage cheese straight from the cup.
-
microwaved chicken
microwaved oatmeal
uncooked vegetables
cheese stix
cereal and milk
pnut butter and milk
-
Egg Beaters.
If I don't mix them with a shake, I just drink them straight out of the carton.
I've only tried the original. I don't know how the flavored ones taste.

Get a coffee mill and grind up raw oatmeal very very fine. Draw into lines and snort.
Buy a cooler. Carry your food and a carb/protein drink in it.

This is not intended to be harsh, because we all fight laziness, struggling to get to the gym, intensity once you get there, etc. But the fact remains that this is not a sport for the lazy. Nutrition is at least as important as working out. No one would ask on the training board for a Lazy Man's chest routine, for example. The preparation of food, the tracking of nutrients, the taking of supplements, the attention to detail, it's all part of it from my perspective.

yes but when your trialing for 6 hockey clubs , rennovating your house , running a business and bodybuilding.......u need convenience :)
-
Well...if you don't care about the fact it will taste like shit after two days....
Cook a huge amount of brown rice, a big chicken, and frozen vegetables, bake it on sunday and froze it for the weeks.
Yeah, pretty boring, but worked for me when i must lose extra bodyfat.

I take it this is how you get by when you have no money for blow.

I guess I shouldn't call it laziness, but busy-ness! I'm a Marketing Manager for a large company and work 40-50+ during the week. So trust me, I'm not actually lazy! The purpose of this post was to get ideas on "quick & easy" nutritious meals & snack.

Good clarification. Being efficient with your nutritional regimen is much different than being lazy. As a litigator in a LA law firm, I too appreciate the need to have convenient sources of nutrition that take minimal prep.

hahaha yes! a good woman is key to everything
Supps are for people that masturbate too much!
-
No need to cook.
-
You do have to cook the instant brown rice, but it takes 5 minutes.
-
;D

If you take the Carribean style black beans pictured below, add a can of chicken breast and heat for three minutes, you have a decent chilli with lots of protein (over 70g) and fiber (24g) with minimal fat.

As I sit here with my protein shake, GetBig in the right monitor, and Porn on the left monitor, I find this very true ;D

M & M Meat Shops. not sure if they are in the USA.
they have a Shrimp/Scallop microwave bowl. 21g protein. 34g carbs. add in 100-150 grams of frozen prawns for extra protein. that's my lunch at work everyday. it tastes awesome too.
if you're in a hurry for fast food you can try wendy's chicken grill minus the sauce and a small chili or a 6" subway chicken grill with double meat minues the cheese and mayo

Besides the sodium these are decent choices. Wendy's chili is not too bad and you can get away with some low-cal stuff at subway as well.
