back in May of 2004, Guy Grundy posted on here and said that he was gonna fight Ernie Taylor. Well LAST I HEARD THE FIGHT IS STILL PENDING SO lets say that they were gonna fight, who would win????

How are you, I do Boxing, Muay Thai and Ju Jitsu/Submission wrestling. At prsent I am doing a lot of boxing. I am 250lbs which is a good weight for me. 240lbs is my best weight for fighting strength and conditioning wise. At Gold's there are a LOT of professional fighters so you always have someone to spar with and learn from. Hope all is well back home. take care

He is a very good fighter. Unfortunaley his mouth is bigger than his heart! Other wise we would have fought! Ernie is around 5ft 8 and I am 6ft. I don't think he would be more than 250l\bs these days

Is it a fight to determine who has abused synthol more? If so, I beleive Grungy would win easily, because while ernie is an established IFBB Pro with a great amount of lean mass, Grungy is a wannabe who had little muscle mass, but proportionately a HUGE amount of synthol. Guy has never won a substantial bodybuilding contest, either,
making his ability to comment on anyone even more ridiculous. Grundy also has a nubain addiction, and eating disorder, which taylor cant come close to matching!
Now, hes gonna make cmments like calling me a nobody (I am), or some other inane little dismissal he thinks is clever.

my pleasure Guy, I just had to put that guy in his place. You're right, I dunno why a fellow australian couldn't be happy for a fellow aussie doing well, but the sad thing is there is more jealous people out there all the time....its a pity he couldn't see that IF HE HAD THE HEART AND DRIVE....then he would achieve something as well....but there will always be trailer trash out there, and insidescoop is one of them :(

Good to hear thing are good back home. We are going to Japan in March and then coming to Australia later in the year. Cali is Awsome, we are in Winter right now and the weather is beautiful all year long.
I will be living in the the US for while yet. I am doing the acting thing so LA is th best for that. I am not sure wher I will end up living at this stage. But would lik to own homs in Austrlia, Japan and the US.
The US and Oz are very simliar, you couldn't find 2 countires more the same. The people back hom are more easy going than Cali. Hop all is well.

I would like to fight, I actually manage a professional MMA and Muay Thai fighter. I have laernt quit a bit on how things work as I know lot of fighters and trainers. The big money is for the know guys that are established. I would like to fight MMA and Boxing. But I am not doing it for $2,000 as an unknown which is what you get. I would like to have fought Ernie Taylor but he backed out. I thought we could make some money of that fight. If something comes along that is worth while I would b intersted 100%. The longer I wait the more I improve so that is nother factor. At present i am doing a lot of boxing. Sparring 6 rounds a day 5 days week at the moment. Take care

as far as i am aware you are not a pro fighter and you have never fought before (pro/am bout). i could be wrong though? if i am right then it is very much in your interest to take a local bout just to get a little experience before taking a sanctioned bout. even if ernie hasn't fought before either, it would give you a significant advantage with nerves, etc. i know you have performed in front of crowds before but fighting's a little different. though i am sure the pros you train with can fill you in on this.
so, assuming that you are not a pro fighter, but you want to fight then what is the issue with money?
on the other hand, if you don't really want to fight and are happy to just train in the gym etc then i can understand your proposition.

What I am saying is I am not fighting for a couple of Grand. That is pointless and a waste of my time. I train with Pro fighter 5 times a week so i kjow wher I am at. if a fight comes along that is worth while I will take it. But I am not interested in starting at the bottom and working my way up. You are nothing more than a dog that barks at everyone who passes by him but never gets off the porch. You can talk about fighting all day but quite honestly, you simply need to set up a fight with a local person and see how far you've gone in your skills.
Oh yeah, thanks for the picture you sent of you punching a heavy bag. It didn't impress me because heavy bags don't punch back.......

Neither PRIDE, nor UFC, Nor K1 will come knocking your door down unless you have a good fight history.
There is nothing wrong with just training. Its all good. But just know that expecting a major fight to drop on your lap, out of thin air, is a fantasy.
