He had every part of his body developed in proportion only standout bodypart was his mouth. If it wasn't for that huge mouth he could have beaten any other bodybuilder with that condition and proportions.
Bodybuilding is not size at the expanse of everything else but the perfection of symmetry, aesthetics, proportions, mass all in accordance with each other.

I'm against giving short guys a Sandow. It goes against the fundamentals of bodybuilding.
Even though his back was underpar compared to some like Haney, Yates and Ronnie, it was proportionate to his physique.bb'ing will never be mainstream.
Shoulda taken 2 Sandows home. Biggest thing against him was that he gave away 50lbs to some of his competitors. Had he gone size route, woulda fucked-up one of the most complete packages ever.

And he's nowhere near complete - hit rear lat spread was pretty weak and given he competed against the likes of Haney, Yates and Coleman, he got blown away by the much bigger guys every time. I'd say Dorian in 1993 was just about the most amazing, complete physique I've ever seen - he looked f*cking mindblowing in every one of the mandatory poses, including the transition poses in-between.

Nubret is without a doubt the most complete and maintainable physique in history. Never really flutuated, never really dieted.
Still has a 31" waist to that day and 50" chest.

Most complete: Padilla. Forget the height issue that's reaching. Nubret great but his legs were just not up to the upper body. It's very obvious in some poses, whereas in others he's able to hide it. Something like Schwarzenegger's thigh size shortcoming but more pronounced.
Ray's not in the same sentence, wasn't even the most complete of his era, it was Wheeler. Having more development by itself is not the same as most complete either.

Nope. It is definetely authentic. You cannot see that kind of mass today where the arms match the chest in the bird transition pose. Only an ancient dinausaur can replicate that same condition.

It could also be argued that Arnold wasn't at his best in 75. Didn't Butler/Gaines of Pumping Iron convince him to compete once more just for the movie? I remember reading somewhere that Arnold wasn't in his best shape when this was done. He does look better in 74. So both Serge and Arnold are off, Arnold wins, hopefuly that kills the controversy.

There's no excuse for them to publically slander Serge's name and image personally and professionally and ban him from competing until his spirit and physique are broken down he's so sick about everything he can't train or eat. If Serge had done any porn, he wouldn't have been able to do 25 films and become a famous actor; porn is the kiss of death to any serious acting career...especially back then. There is a french message board and a million people on it today who think Serge is God and tell him every day. But like Steve, not many in the States know of Serge that well over here. He's famous only in Europe for his acting. Steve Reeves was the #1 movie star in the world in 1959. There are people here who don't know about his acting except for maybe Hercules.

I explained every thing in my book. Why they said that I made a porno movie, the fast is that they suspend me at first, because they was afraid that the title of Mr. olympia has to go to some one who has nothing to do withe the Weider's supplements and training principles, so after nearly 2 week of not training and dieting, shey have been sure that i could not win Arnold any more, they give the possiblity to compete, everything that Weider wrote on his book about me, is a lie, and so let me suppose that everything on this book is only, I don't undestand why people before to die still want to lie.

Thank you Made in Montana, to post here about what Weider said. Maybe Weider thought that I will never know about what he wrote about me on his stupid book which everything is lies. But thanfully internar exist now and on my book i said everything that Weider did in Paris in 1975, by going out with this beautiful transverstied, and went to bed whith her or him I realy don't know. All details in my book coming soon. And the real true about what happened in South Africa, I was afraid to publish that after more than 30 years, but Weider opened the door.
