im 20 years old 192 lbs. 5'9'' been lifting for 3 years bf% 10
bench 320
squat 335 ( i know that is pathetic)
deadlift 455
cling and press 225
just curious unfortunatly i go to a very fitness / mom and pop type gym and there isnt alot of hard core people in there, golds opens in a few months so hopefully i can get some advice and tips from some people there. thanxs

your squat is low, but I suspect that is because you do place as it as a priority. I am impressed with your deadlift.
-
ya i usualy like to do alot of reps with squats so i rarly go lower than 10 reps but i always go to low on squats, im trying to gte a better technique
-
pretty good. i to suffer from a low squat max. but very nice DL.
-
Deadlift looks pretty good. Work on technique with the squat and it should go up to at least the level of your DL in no time. Bench looks good, and if it is RAW I would say you have a good start to work with for sure.
oh, and I'm one to talk about squats. I probably bench more than I squat haha.

ya every thing is raw except for deads i use straps because i have thr grip of a 10 year old girl, every other week i dont use straps for deads. and my bench has actually gone up a bit more up to 340. i cant seem to get motivated to do squats my legs are pretty bug compared to the rst of my body so its hard to really push my self although i puke occasionaly on leg day and im def sore for a week after

I must respectfully disagree.
After ONE year of lifting a decent trainee could deadlift AT LEAST 400. After three years, he should be in the high 500`s.

i agree to i think my numbers should be better i love lifting big weights but no 1 else in my gym does. there are some older men who are stronger than me but they always seem to stay in the 10-12 rep range and use lighter weight. ive been back and forth between hypertrophy type workouts and more strength and power workouts.

Well, if he is natural take a look at state records for his weight class and age group and you will see his numbers are decent. didnt say they were fantastic, but they are respectable being that he is considered a junior in most feds and at 20 years old is on the lower end of it.

SL dubbs, what's the best way to increase one's bench, endurance-wise...maxing out reps with a sub-max weight, say 70-80%?
-
The best way to increase your bench, kicker, is to show up at the gym every once in awhile! ;D
