For those that have used them, please share your insights, good or bad. Right now, I eat cottage cheese before bed but thinking of switching over to a powder because I think it would be less costly, not to mention the bland taste of cottage cheese. Also, it seems casein-only proteins are hard to come by...seem like you can only find them on-line; most stores don't stock them.
Any good brands out there? I can only think of ON's Casein...and Nitrotech nightime, although I think that one is acutally a blend...
Thanks

I use the ON Casein before bed. 1 scoop and 8 oz of milk. It mixes up kinda thick and tastes different than most protein powders..in a good way.

I have a scoop of whey with a scoop of cottage cheese, add some milk or water and I'm off to bed

I think thats Casein Powders taste way better.
On's taste good, and so dose SR Anabolic 12 hour ( think thats what it's called ) When taking it before bedtime I did notice looking a little fuller. You should give it a try.

I think I'm gonna get a couple of jugs of ON's...so from your experience you noticed a bit more size... can you really say it was from using a casein-based powder? Did your training or nutrition regimen change at all during that period in time as well? Did you notice any changes in your strength or recoverability?

someone gave me a jug of that BSN lean desert stuff, which is nighttime protein, pretty much, and it tastes amazing, and mixes thicker than whey, but its like $25 for not a whole lot. it did taste good though.
