look at who provides your internet service these days, in canada its rogers and bell ... who i believe are our biggest broadcasters


much like the oil people will controll the transition into alternative energy, broadcasters are controlling the marriage of tv and internet, which will help to stamp out the internet we know today by liscencing everything

freedom of speech is part of it, cash flow is the real reason though (internet advertising = teh future)

Right, and the average American now watches 4 hours of tv daily since the rise of the internet America actually spends more time in front of the tv now. This particularly study found out that instead of replacing tv time with internet activity people replaced it by decreasing sleep. Is anyone on this board specialize in marketing?
