Title: Did Danny Padilla have it ALL figured out? 5hours of cardio
Post by: Marty Champions on February 22, 2007, 10:30:24 PM
seems correct to me with my experience in losing fat and keeping a full muscle look. if i were to diet too long or too fast by restricting calories i eventually get a flat look, but on days when i had time from work to preform 3 hours of cardio or running/jogging, i seemed to lose fat and water quickly Right after the run by judging from the mirror. then soon after eating 800 calories worth of ramen noodles i began to dry out and fill out and look even better (reaching peak conditioning for that day). the body can look different hourly , depending on food digestion and muscle uptake/demand for food. yet did not deprive self of nutrition, but better yet assimilated it to 'all' the right places via cardio  :P

he was a genetic freak!! for most 5 hrs would be overkill and not necessary. danny could eat 60grams protein daily and do 4-5 hrs cardio and still keep his muscles bellies super full.

I find it very common to find sub 5'6" BB with incredible genetics like that.. especially in the density department an easyness to keep gains while dieting and come in full: Labrada, Priest, M. Makaway, Brisebois, Sherman, Flavio, Fraco (minus the gyno) etc... they all had that in common.

not true! not too many people I know could eat as little as 60grams protein daily and continue to bench with 405pds and do multiple hours of cardio and not tear a muscle or get totally depleted.

I agree with you, I also feel stronger, fuller and look better when I eat more and throw in cardio to keep in a caloric neurtral state.

I don't understand these guys that eat minimal and do zero cardio. To me that sounds like torture

everything that you have just said goes against the adonis principle

5 hours of cardio isnt that bad if you have the time. I remember in August 'two a days' for soccer ..9 am to 5 pm with an hour of rest. Plus you have to remember that there is sprinting, hustling, kicking involved not a slow pace jog. Football player can attest to this as well.

again, try telling your kids you want to "catch up" on sleep sunday morning....not as easy as you might think especially when they're 4 years old or so.

lol, having no life, job, friends, money or interest in anything productive is not all together a bad thing. It leaves more time for 5/hr cardio sessions

having maintaing a near peaked out physique means more than a few friends that come and go and stick around, you can get another job work less make less but have alot more fee time sacrificing things like nice cars, going out to eat ect, having the pefect healthy attractive physique can work wonders on your social life without spending anything

daddywaddy if you're doing hours of cardio please do yourself a favor and do it on a treadmill or other machine so you can read a book at the same time.  your grasp of the english language is no higher than a 5th grade level.  the only other thing i'd recommend is that the book contain no pictures.

i dont read books for they are just merely other peoples mindless thoughts , uncreative minds, people dont have that 3rd eye in there head like i do, i can play movies in my head while doing cardio, and use my brain as a file cabinet to seek and remenesce on fun memories of my young adulthood while cardio, i am very self sufficient my young lad

it has nothing to do with other people thoughts.  extending your education is all about increasing your ability to express your own thoughts, its about accumulating the tools you'll need to compete effectively in life.  and it's not about giving up your time to someone else at all; in fact it's almost purely self-centered and egotistical.  in fact it's a lot like bodybuilding, you might like it.
