Guess he prefers to live in a delusional bubble.

Looks like the way Arnold curled back in the day.
I'm not saying the guy is using good form. He is not, but I doubt anyone in this thread who is knocking his form could duplicate the feat. Prove me wrong and post a video. Any of you. Please...
My point is that even that sloppy form takes a decent amount of strength to move around 185 lbs like that. The guy is carrying a lot of body fat, but he has good sized arms and obviously good strength.
I know what is coming...those of you who wish to "heckle", just do us all a favor post a video of yourself doing the same thing before typing a bunch of bullshit.
Its not a matter of duplicating the feat , whats the sense? what purpose does it serve? the object is to total exhaust the muscle , nothing more than ego lifting and his physique speaks volumes for it !
The point would be to prove that you are as strong as him. What is the matter, doesn't your non-ego training allow you to lift anything heavy?
The point is that you mock the guy and yet you cannot duplicate the feat. Perhaps it would be better to say that he is strong, but that his physique leaves something to be desired and in YOUR opinion he might benefit from a stricter form of training and some attention to his diet. Do you see what I mean? Guys on here just make stupid comments that have no point.

Heavy is relative and form is more important than weight , I don't lift any heavier than form allows when I was 16 I did and then you learn
And the point is mocking him is its terrible form and it's not a true test of strength he's get more respect with 155 for 6 reps with perfect form than swinging the weight , could I duplicate that ? who knows ??? I don't care to try it's not productive what I'm trying to accomplish , that was a demonstration of strength it was one of ego , it accomplished nothing other than ridicule
It isn't a matter of "who knows". You know, and you know you cannot duplicate it so you mock it because it makes you feel insecure that the bodybuilding tenets you hold so dear have not allowed you to develop the strength that some beer-bellied middle aged guy has. It would destroy your ego and all that you hold dear to realize that all you have done has been relatively for naught.
Rather than mock, offer constructive criticism, recognize the feat (if it deserves it), or say nothing.
Yeah but you gotta admit that if he was able to do just ONE with full range of motion, people would actually be impressed.
Sorry, but imo, this is an ego lift, and, obviously, attempt to get attension -- why else post it to youtube???
Tons of people do heavy lifts with plenty of body english (myself included - sometimes and as a specific part of my workout) but don't go around slapping everyone in the face with it.

McGrath with actual development showing how it's done with about the same weight:
let's take a close look at the mighty Chris Mason's lifts and physique, shall we....Deadlifts off the supports in the power rack and lowered to floor 585, Barbell EZ bar cheat curls 170 for 6, Partial T Bar Rows 7 plates for 6 half reps......Arms 15 inches, Legs 22 inches, Chest 41 inches.

Heh, no. Why he posted is the source of the mocking.
And, no. I can't do that. Never said I could. Never said I train for strength. Don't try to derail this by diverting attension to me. Doesn't help you in a debate -- only shows you have no where else to go and you're desperate.
This is about HIM.

I am not derailing anything. I am trying to make a point which is lost on you.
What do you care if the man posts a video? Perhaps he is proud of his strength. He can do something YOU cannot and he felt like showing it. So what? Let the man have his pride.
It would be like you posting a picture of your arms and everyone mocking them including those with arms smaller than you. Get it?
uh, serious?
Either way, I'd rather have 25" arms and only be able to curl 100lbs. I don't give a shit about strength other than how it help me keep from injury, grow stabilizer muscles (for a complete look vs/ the Dennis Wolf inflatable muscles look), and grow overall mass.
seriously, you should see this guy, average build, hairy, glasses, looks Irish and i swear that the man's arms literally look no bigger than 15 inches yet he claims to have benched 405 and deadlifted close to 700.
Yeah, let's. How about 635 lbs for a double, totally raw using a hook grip (from the floor):

And I lift very fucken heavy. Just don't go around bragging about it in public.
The dumbbell is large, it limits the ROM. I know you have never tried such a feat, so you have no idea, but a big dumbbell like that makes a more complete ROM impossible.just the fact that you defend this skinny/fat clown tells me everything i need to know about you, Chris. ;D
The guy is strong, pure and simple. Yes, he uses sloppy form and does not have a nice physique from a bodybuilding perspective, but he is strong.
just the fact that you defend this skinny/fat clown tells me everything i need to know about you, Chris. ;D
here's the 14 inch armed wonder of nature Chris mason blasting his mammoth guns&NR
Again, I have to disagree. ROM doesn't have to be limited in this case because of the size of the dumbell.
Doing stretching pullovers will allow for a complete range of motion on any such movement.
You do stretching pullovers, right? So you aught to know this.
you gotta be kidding me ! hahahahahhahahahhahhahah a
hahahhahahahahhahahahahh a
lol
no

Nice form ::)
It's fucking hilarious how he slams the weight down and stalks off like he's a badass !!

The interweb is filled with people doing crazy/stupid things that we all know are wrong, including those involved. It doesn't mean we can't do them, we just don't want to do something stupid, or to hurt ourselves. ::)

I need to incorporate that into my back routine.have you eaten burfee? ::)
Squad and TA, you don't make your point any better by having your multiple aliases chime in. It just makes you look sad.
For the record dude this is the only account I have here.
Trust me - you look like an ass to most people who read this thread. Your defense of these clips is now obvious to me after viewing your YouTube clip.

Lol, sure. ::)
This is one of the comments about this video
Hes only doing (45+45+45+10+10)lbs = 155lbs. I can do 225lbs for 8 and I am only 185lbs but not with the best form cause the weights moves me a lot
(Reply)
225lb for 8 curl at a 185 bw!! ::)
