It's possible, at the eastside barbell club where I work out at on the lower east side, the strognest guy in the gym who we call "the GODFATHER" (mr intenseone on getbig) regularly hits 600 for a good 4-8 with a pause, you have to remember thats with no arch, no inzer, and just a bra and pantys.

I would love to meet anyone who believes fairytales like that.

In comparison, Matt "World's Strongest Arms" Duvall's feats of strengths seems very believable.

Just as Shahriar Klownmali's claims of 21.5 inch arms (in contest).

Bwhahahahaha...

That guy's hilarious, on par with 240 or Bust's claims of 20 reps with 405 lbs and TA's claim of 225 for 112 in the deadlift IMO.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, let's say he's been bigger, used a bit of juice...

Perhaps he would be doing 445-500. For a single.

But 10 reps with 600 aka being by far the strongest bencher ever? HAHAHAHA

Brian Cockerill is a fucking giant of a man (hes about 320lbs), and was/is able to squat over 800lbs easily. At one time he was amongst the strongest PL's in the world, and is easily one of the UK's hardest men. Hes a 1 man wrecking machine who rules with his fists and nothing else.

hold on a minute, i never once said he benched 600. I would probably think a guy his size would get 525. The squat claim is entirely believable, you really have to see him in person to appreciate his size. Hes obviously not as strong as he used to be, but the guy still shifts serious weight

Nobody could ever squat 20 reps with 660 lbs, that's the original claim. He may have squatted 800 lbs at his best, I won't get into that.

But 20 reps with 660 lbs.. Not Karwoski, not Coan, not Hamman. Nobody.

Here's Rezazadeh squatting an easy double with 672 lbs:

You still believe someone could do 660 lbs for TWENTY reps?

His 660 claim is complete bullshit, probably the publishers idea to talk him up. He doesnt need talking up though, and his 600 bench for 10 is also complete bullshit. That would put his 1rm for both at a combined weight of 1895 (800 bench & 1095 squat). Now give him a half decent deadlift and youve got a 3 lift total that would never be beaten

i dont know him personally, and to be honest he intimidated me. That doesnt often happen. I really didnt want to look at him incase he came over and literally ripped my face apart. Ive met alot of guys with big reps - Frankie Frazer, Purple Aki, Tony Sinnitt etc- but this guy scared me the most. The things he's capable of are frightening. Hes a fair man, the complete opposite of lenny McLean. Lenny was a bully who liked people to know how hard he was, who he had battered etc but The Taxman does it for the right reasons. If he ever took the hump and developed a chip on his shoulder i wouldnt live anywhere near him.

If you can ever find it, there was a programme on TV a while back called MacIntyres Underworld featuring him. For example somebody steals a car from a dealership in the town and gives him a call. Within a couple of hours or so hes found out whos got it and orders them to pay the guy back. The poor lad shits himself when he sees who's come for him ha ha ha. I believe Brian says something like "dont worry im not gonna hit you, not with all the fucking cameras here" ha ha ha
