Title: AFAA Personal Trainer Cert Help
Post by: pink on March 01, 2007, 06:58:32 PM
Hey guys -
At a new gym and going to take the AFAA to be PT certified in thirty days.

I've done personal training - being NPC qualified - but never been certed - any AFAA members can give me some tips and what to expect??

Should help you get your foot in the door.

I've never hired an AFAA Personal Trainer  but we do have a lot of AFAA Group Fitness instructors.

Thanks - I know that sometimes these things are just jumping through hoops but sometimes in life that's what you got to do.

It's a good set up and I was hoping for some feedback from people who have taken the test and could tell me what to expect as far as anatomy/physiology.

I don't think they are going to ask me who has the largest biceps in the world or what the best oral only cycle is. (trick question)
