Congress has been looking for the fall guy for years i.e the Arnold a couple years back with all the subpoenas, Dennis James Thailand bust, etc etc. Now since they cant hit baseball, bodybuilding is next. Anyone who opens a newspaper knows that.

From what I understand, a few people have been poking around in the Middle East lately.

I know what they are going after when a friend of mine got busted for distribution of AAS they just happened to kick his door in when he barely had anything in stock eventhough they knew how much business he was doing...After they couldn't catch him red-handed with the amount of products he was getting and distributing they went after him for Tax Evasion and got him on that...After he paid about $50k in attorney fees it all ended with him having to do just over a year in prison with 3 years probation after release....However when the investigation is said and done and people are arrested the media will play the AAS card and focus on that rather than tax evasion etc....

Look I had problems with customs only 8 months ago that ended up turning over to the D.E.A. talking to me...During that time a buddy of mine got picked up for possesion of AAS...No it doesn't happen all the time, but it is real and the D.E.A. does know about people that use/sell...Why do you think I am pissed right now that I can't get anything unless I go through other people and have to pay a ton for them....(On a side note, if you ask most ifbb pros they have doctor's prescribe them, unfortunately I don't have that luxury)

I am not trying to put a stop to roids trust me...I can do without them if I have to...I just hate how our congress passes these anti-steroid campaigns when the money would be better spent going after much more deadly street drugs....Properly educating the U.S. on AAS side-effects and correct usage would be money better spent also...

Yes. By holding down jobs, eating 6 meals a day, and flexing in the mirror more than others, bodybuilders are really a scourge on society.
Of course, the meth users who blow up kitchen, rob each other, OD, tie up our health care system... no need to go after them.

Bodybuilders sell drugs, not only steroids, but also painkillers, viagra, some even sell recreational drugs.

I just don't think it should be priority #1 like they're treating it. The meth problem is beyond out of control and affecting so many more people it's stupid. Not saying steriod users are all innocent, but for the most part, it's minor shit in how lives are ruined next to meth. They seem to be targeting steriods very specifically almost like the harder drugs are all gateway to steriods. What a waste of tax $. Go after the problem really destroying America. I don't think you're right.
Meth is only affecting the really poor people. People that aren't contributing to society, whereas Steroids have become a lifestyle drug (it's not more, isn't it??) that is breaking into all classes.
Rich College kids that want to look good as well as Ghetto 'gangstas' 'keepin it real', Roids are widespread.
It affects the US also internationally, because it looks like US athletes have easier access to roids than in other countries. That's total BS, but when the next BALCO scandal or Barry Bonds comes up, world media is over it.
Steroids have a higher priority over meth.
For peole doing meth, there is no hope, for people doing roids, there is.
