Richard Jones definitely has the potential to become Mr. Olympia.

I'd love to see him vs. Phil heath.
-
Phil heath is great but Richard Jones has the perfect physique in my opinion.

Bingo! The only bodyparts that heath has that amazes me are arms.

Richard Jones would be great... if they weren't going for the fat fvck look.

Apparently you forgot what Jones looks like.

Jones looks like a Zane in that B&W pic, but he really did have some decent size and good width. I haven't seen many pics of him, so can't say what he needs to improve on.

well by iffbb standards everything is based on this 80% mass 20% balance and proportion. ::)

Rocco Jones needs a bit more leg size and overall thickness.
Thing is, he's claimed numerous times he won't rush things, he won't sacrifice his midsection and symmetry for rapid gains.
If he doesn't quit BB altogether, my guess is we'll see Rocco fighting it out with Sami and Heath for the number one spot in a year or two.
Although I don't think Heath is on par with Rocco, Heath's rushing things IMO.

Only at the Olympia.
Dexter Jackson isn't a mass monster, but he does have great symmetry, a good back shot and incredible conditioning. So you can be up there with the big boys if you really nail the finer points but still have good mass.

I don't see Jones coming back anytime soon. It's unfortunate, he did so well at the NOC. Him and Sami would be great onstage together. Sami's getting better with each show. He'll win a PDI show soon and could place very well at the Ironman/Arnold.
Give Heath wider lats, bit more hams and he's top 5 at the Olympia. I'm sure he's already improved his back for the Arnold, but we'll have to wait and see.

How is he rushing things? We havent seen him onstage since what May of last year?
-
I thought he is just focusing on finishing up his degrees and putting bodybuilding on the backburner....Very smart move if you ask me......

to be fair heath has amazing lines in his quads
-
which sami are u referring to, pdi sami?

Hopefully soon to be Ex-PDI Sami, yes.
Sami Al-Haddad should be competing against the best, not do guest posings together with Lee Priest at amateur level contests.
Lee Priest has already established himself, he's good.
But Sami could do so much better. A competition like Shawn Ray's CoPro would be perfect, the Doherty competition too.

I felt that Richard Jones reminded me of a young Ronnie Coleman....a ton of potential and most importantly, a great back.
-
Does Richard not bother to train calves then ???
-
I like RIchard Jone's physique better than Phil Heath. Actually, if i could choose to look like any current active bodybuilder, i'd pick richard jones. but he aint gonna any big show any time soon. he seems to lose a ton of size precontest.
-
Marilyn Manson fan?
-
Rich will be back this year, look for him at either the NY or the Colo pro ;)
-
Where did Richard place in his last Mr. O competition? Yeah, definitely a future Mr. O. ::)
Richard Jones is a poor man's Shawn Ray.

where did Ronnie Coleman place in his first olympia showing?

Uhh...comparing Richard to Ronnie is a no-no homie.
Get back to me when Rich gains 30 pounds without destroying his lines.
You might as well say Dugdale is a future Mr. O. ::)
-
he looks good by himself but easily gets lost in a strong lineup. he placed almost deadlast at the 2004 Mr O and thats where he deserved to be.

Richard Jones!!!
....In order for him to even be considered, he has to actually compete!~ >:(

But he beat a few of those guys in the NOC the same year. My guess is that it was a conditioning thing more than anything else as to why he didn't place higher.
