Rich is awesome, different class of fighter than Silva. I don't expect him to beat silva again. He litterally got thrown around. I don't see much changing in the second fight.

Yeah but mainly the clinch killed him all he had to do was block the knee then upper cut wtf? he hadleled Silva's clinch like a total amature ??? Don't get me wrong tho, I'm not saying that silva couldent have ko'ed him with other tools. In fact I think Franklin is out classed all the way around I'd be supprized if he beat Silva.

Glad to see Franklin back in his game. Anyone know why Jason Quit? I was curious if there was an injury. Franklin's punches looked a bit slow and not very powerful but effective enough to win the fight. I think he will become his old self with each fight he takes.. Hopefully he takes a couple more before getting back in with Silva.

i think the ref was calling the fight anyways when the bell wrong. it looked like rich was saying to hey you called the fight right. then jason quit anyways. i think he was just banged up to much. his face was all knotted up. he looked pretty bad.

we havent seen silva hurt yet had he not busted rich's nose so early in the fight it could have gone either way.

It went the way it went. He was stronger than Rich Expected, Rich even stated that he was strong mofo. Rich is going to have to change up his game to beat Silva. I don't really see it happening though. I think silvas inside Rich's Head.
I hope someone beats Silva though, he is not a very marketable champ as you need subtitles to understand what he is saying.

I thought he looked good but not great and seemed a little scared to let his hands really go and follow through. After an ass beating like silva gave him i'm sure it'll take a couple of fights to get his head really back in the game. There are talks of bringing Nate Quarry to fight him again.

Silva's two most recent losses were by sub, his sub game and defense have gotten significantly better since the Chonan fight (which was a spectacular submission that one only dreams of). He would have beaten Okami (I was at that fight) had he not been DQed. I don't think Ace's sub game is good enough to catch Anderson. Not to mention Anderson is a southpaw, and this will present problems to Rich. Anderson also throws nice straight punches, while Ace throws looping punches ala Chuck. (Without the power) We all have seen what Anderson does with the plum, so the clinch definitely goes to Anderson. Marquardt matches up better against Anderson than Rich does, and Rich matches up well against Nate, so we will see.

I should have known that.. anytime you put Franklin and Nate in the same conversation all I picture is that knockout and his leg and arm being stuck up off the mat... my bad.
