N.H. Poll: Obama, Hillary Tied; Giuliani Leads
Rudolph Giuliani leads John McCain by a solid 10 points in a new 2008 poll in the key early primary state of New Hampshire.
In the Suffolk University survey of likely voters, former New York City Mayor Giuliani received 37 percent of the vote among Republicans, while Arizona Sen. McCain got 27 percent and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney collected 17 percent.
Among Democrats, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were virtually tied for the lead. New York Sen. Clinton got 28 percent of the vote to Illinois Sen. Obama’s 26 percent, but the poll had a margin of error of 4.38 percent, according to the Boston Globe.
Former Sen. John Edwards finished third with 17 percent of the vote.
