So I'm trainin legs today and this 19 year oldish kid walks in, 6 foot 2 and all of 185 pounds. No warmup at all he loads 3 plates on the squat rack and proceeds to do 4 inch movement ssquats. Now, my question is, in all seriousness, is there any benefit at all to this, like I mean a single benefit period?

The benefit is that you get to laugh at him.

Yes... it demonstrates to everyone else in the gym what NOT to do.
