Title: Honesty Time guys!
Post by: Spread Eagle II on March 10, 2007, 11:39:06 AM
Ok, we've all seen picture of that Buttsuck fellow.  He claims to be 5'11" at 155.  Looking at his appearance, I would venture to guess many of us would have to lose A LOT of fat to be in the same condition as him.

For instance, I'm 5'11" and 200 lbs even.

To look "stage ready" I'd say i'd have to weigh 165.

How about you guys?

He has a great waist.

With a few more years, Buttsuck will be beyond great.

Based on my condition at around 195-205 I think I could be on stage at 160-170.  ???

http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=99475.0

I think 175 at 5'9 in good condition is not that bad.  Layne Norton is 5'10 and 1/2 and at 189 looked very good.

Yeah laynes a frreak, i dont care if he weighed 340 pounds onstage, he looks like shit.

and his friend a top "natural bodybuidler" had bitch tits.

One thing I can say about Layne is that his physique looked attainable.  He had enough muscle to look healthy, fit, and strong, but not enough to look obsessive or narcissistic.  His lifts are pretty good.  He wasn't sure of his flat bench one rep max but he said it was likely somewhere between 350-400.  He said his deadlift goal for 2007 was 600 and he can handle 550 pretty well right now.  He wants to compete next at 200.  He was 215 at the expo and in decent condition and he said his max weight ever was 228 which was getting a little uncomfortable whereas now he feels good at his current weight.  He is pretty smart and a nice guy.  I would like to be in the condition he was at during the expo at 180-200.  Would be a nice ideal size I think.
i'm starting to think you're a little taller than 5'9", Matt.

Layne also has very thick bones. Look at his head compared to yours.  You should not use weight as an indicator.

Layne in contest is around 185-192, With your bones, he would be less as Muscle would also be reduced.

Why the change of heart.  I TOLD you then you needed to lose at least 40 lbs.  You giggled at that thought, now you embrace it.  Why the change?

TA,

This is what I don't understand: you have major issues with bodybuilders being totally drugged up which is understandable.  Yet when you get a natural pro like Layne who has made good progress (in strength, mass, and condition), you are negative to him also.  Why is this exactly?  Did you and Layne have a falling out on the boards sometime or something?  I would think you of all people would respect a natural who has made good gains without gear.  Is it that you think Layne gets more credit than he deserves?
I was stating a fact.  How is that negative?  If Layne had your bone structure, he would weigh less.  His bones are thick and thicker than yours and mine.

I don`t see this as being negative.

Mosy opf Laymes size is in his torso, he has shit arms and legs, his chest is around the same size as his waist.

I might agree I need to lose a lot of weight to get shredded, but I doubt my body fat is in the twenties.  I will post some more pics and clips soon.  I would assume it is around 14% maybe but I don't know.  20-29% just seems high.

If this is 29% body fat, what is the body fat of the average person?

TA,

Some of your comments from a few months back were the negative ones, not the comment about his bones.
Avg person=VERY high, but you also have to remember it is relative to their weight.

A skinny  person would have a high Bodyfat percentage if they were carrying just 4 lbs of fat.

I think Layne is one of the best LifeTime Naturals ever.

He also agrees with the truth in my diet.

Getbiggers live in a perpetual fantasy world........most of you will change your tune when you grow up a little.   This Getbig "ideal physique" stuff is pure crap.   99% of the world is fat and outta shape and most of us put them to shame even if we aren't "stage worthy" LOL!!

Good to hear.  You have to respect a guy who has passed up on gear for so long yet is consistent with everything else.  I also think he has a good look.  I would be pleased to have his level of muscle size.
You aren`t far off as I said.  You are judging by bodyweight instead of muscle per square inch.

I need a chest first off.  Check out this quote:

TA,

Do you agree with Jezebelle here?

My plan starting as possibly as early as Monday is to get on SIZEON creatine and see if Milos can recommend a chest routine for me, then I will post my progress on the boards.  If I can get some decent gains to my chest in a few months I will be very pleased.
No we don`t agree on the chest part.

But the sneaking up on the weight part I agree.

Layne Norton has got awful genetics.  He has a decent chest and decent arms that look very attainable naturally within a year or more of hard training.  Everything else on him is a weak point that can never be improved because of his ridiculously bad structure.

You are wrong on the one year of training part.  It would take anyone years for that level.  His structure is not flawed either.

Are you talking about when Layne psyches himself up before a set? LOL I saw that on Youtube . Whatever motivates him to give his all to a set do it even if it does look strange ;D

Not flawed?

You consider big joints, wide waist, narrow shoulders, skinny legs with zero sweep a good structure?

The guy has a gym body.  He looks embarrassing on stage...

You can tell he has a shit structure even when he wasn't into bodybuilding...

Matt C,

I don't know what to say regarding Adonis' comments.  I'm no nutritionist, but you're probably right about being 14% bodyfat at most.  If you wanted to get shredded you'd probably just have to lose 15 at most.

You've got some thick shoulders and a pretty narrow waist.  Your waist will only get smaller too once you diet.
