Title: Sending Text Messages (from the internet)

Is there a site to send text messages to any cell phone if you know the number?  If I know what carrier they use, I can send from that carriers web site (usually ~ Cingular doesn't work), but what if you don't know the carrier?  Is there a generic site? Sometimes I think it would be easier to send a message from the net - like when I'm on the computer and my phone is in the car...

you can send messages from AIM atleast I know that verizon can I dont know about the others
