Now this is how offseason should look. Jay among the largest pros looks great in the offseason and actually puts on muscle. Johnnie must just go nuts at McDonalds and buffets everyday and completely stop cardio in the offseason. Its not like he is adding muscle really either especially in his legs.

Of course.
Eating less than you expend will make you lose weight obviously.
But you also have to meet nutritional needs.
Another factor is staying full.
Try stay full on 500 calories of brown rice with a nice curry sauce, and a bit of chicken, a bit of veggies with some olive oil sprinkled over it, meeting the 55/30/15 ratio of Carbs/Fats/Protein,
OR
500 calories worth of Marshmallows.
You do the math.
People get fat by eating at McDonald's.
Of course they wouldn't get fat if they ate only a cheeseburger and drank diet coke.
But the name of the Spurlock movie is "Supersize Me". Abeles is critical of the movie, a movie where the take home message is that Americans are eating TOO MUCH.
One of the key factors in the movie is that Spurlock couldn't refuse when being asked to supersize the meal. This was done to show how McDonalds fattens USA.
I doubt that Abeles eats supersized Big Mac Meals on McDonald's everyday.
If I am wrong, I'll admit my mistake of course.
The point I'm making is that there are more aspects than calories to nutrition.
To even suggest otherwise is laughable.
The old school recommendations still works:
Fibers, olive oil, fat oil, nuts, unprocessed foods are all good.
Nothing beats a brown rice paella con pollo (chicken).

He will probably need atleast 16 weeks if he wants to show up in top shape. He has had problems before with getting to heavy in the offseason and then not being lean enough at shows. He should just stay lean year round; by following the Adonis Principles he could still eat McDonald's and drink his Sprite while staying in the single digits. I wouldn't be suprised if TA started working with some of the top pros pretty soon. Apparently, he has already been contacted by several top competitors.

I would think someone such as Shaquille O'Neal would be an ideal candidate for the Adonis Principles. By getting leaner, he would be much quicker on the court and he would still be able to maintain his muscle mass and strength. It could possible elevate him to the level he was playing at 5 or 6 years ago. Adonis and Shaq would definately be quite the combo for NBA dominance.

No sane promotor would hire JOJ after seeing pics of him from his guest posings in December.

And why not do some strength exhibition instead, perhaps deadlift 660 lbs for a couple of reps or some shyte like that.

Guest pose with decent shape, supportive and down to earth bloke for the fans.. Unlike Ronnie who will guest pose with such horrible shape that made the crowd go wild on Vince G for his muscular physique.
