Exactly, some nut huggers here don't seem to get the point. Yes, he'sa great bodybuilder but doesn't compare well with the greatest. And when even most amateur bodybuilders squat heavier than he (Mr. Olympia) does.. well, it is kind of sad.

Again, not disputing this. Works extremely well for him. But for someone his size, it's pretty weak.

This isn't powerlifting. He built all his muscle with heavy trainng years ago. Getting into mid 30s he playing it safe and doesn't need to build anything just maintain and come in ripped.

People think if guys aren't spitting up blood, screaming, and flinging weights around they are not training hard. I'm sure Ronnie doesn't do the type of traininfg in his DVDs all the time at least if he was a smart bb. Its mainly for the fans.

Training your body is sometimes better than training your ego...
Look at what Kamali did to his body training all out heavy all the time. Dorian, Gaspari, etc. all ended on muscle tears. Jay is at his limit for muscle size at his height any more would take away from his appearance. 4 plate squats doing 6-8 sets with 1 minute of rest is very intense.

Yes, I do work out. And I can outsquat Jay at 230 lbs. And I think I'm a bit weak for my bodyweight. But actually, from now on I'll just tell people I'm training smart. Actually, I see a lot of people train "smart" at most gyms I go to.

A couple things stick out to me from that video:
1. His training "partner" has to have brutally pathetic legs to be wearing pants for that shoot. It always cracks me up to see the guys with bird-legs who wear pants to the gym year round.
2. I do the exact same leg workout Cutler does and didn't even know it. Same exercises and in the same order. Kind of eerie, actually. I had never even seen his leg workout in print before. That combo in that order seems to hit it best for me.
3. You know you're a big son of a bitch when you can hardly fit in the leg machines!
4. Cutler's waist is easily 40-inches in that video.

Will Jay continue with the IFBB since Vince Taylor can compete in the IFBB and pose for NABBA, this opens it up for everyone? So, Lee Priest is announcing that he will compete in the IFBB show in Dallas so all his hometown Texas fans can see hime, and he will compete in PDI in the fall.
Lee would also like all the NPC promoters who have contacted him about guest posing for them, to get back in touch with him because now he can appear at your show.
By the way, this is on the advice from his attorney.

For you haters outhere, did you guys stopped for one minute to think that MAYBE, just MAYBE, Jay may be coming out of a leg training lay off, hence he's easily building up his intensity, rather than dive into his usual all out leg training and risk a stupid injury? Have you guys ever came out from a lay off and started back the leg training? The pain is horrenduous....
I've noticed something very interesting and unusual in Jay's training: he is using knee wraps. He was known for never using them throughout his carrer. Why is he using it, now? Maybe some kinda tendonitis around the patella or some other knee pain? That's curious...

There must be some magic ingredient that makes his so huge despite the fact that he trains lightish and doesn't go to failure. Any theories?

Why don't you guys try to train like Jay: minimal rest periods, high reps and a lot of sets. So no more 3-5 minutes rest between sets, something everybody sees too often in the gym. We'll see if you still think he is weak.

Jay is not weak at all he is just not accoustomed to doinf free weight barbell squats, he has admitted that he very rarely ever does them but on his videos he has done DEEP hacks with 8 plates per side, i know a lot of guys who squat 550-600 who can't do that plus he's done 405 pound barbell inclines and barbell rows.

Jay works out with lighter weight compared to someone like ronnie but it isn't like it matters anyway. The muscle recieves stimulus anyway and grows. Milos grows doing 5 pounds dumbell curls hahahah.

actually you are making my point. his legs are much larger..so what he is doing obviously works for him. that means big weight all of the time does not equal big muscles. i still would not call him weak though. he does 220lb db rows for reps in the offseason.
