Firstly, I want to say to everyone who's trying to find out what went wrong and why the SQUAD died that the SQUAD is not dead! How can it be? We still have heaps of members who're active and who chose to stay behind and who'll now carry on just like it's been done from the beginning.
Here's what happened with the whole situation - at least from my perspective.
Mars saw a couple of thread Sars, BF and Count made about Nazis, and started playing a 'Dictatorship role playing' game that everyone disliked. As part of the same, he started designating different titles to different members. Superstar and BF were made 'Head of Security', whatever that means ;D. Anyway, one time, things were a bit dull in the V, so a lot of us went and flamed people in the G&O which resulted in a lot of complaints and whining. This made Mars say that SS and BF should step down cause they didn't control the crowd (WTF ;D)! Long story short, SS and BF got pissed off (rightfully so), asked Mars to apologise. Sars backed them and gave Mars an ultimatum and Mars got kicked out when he didn't apologise.
Then SS, who'd gotten tired of this 'SQUAD member' role, decided to go solo. Alex23 saw this as an opportunity to pressure Sars into posting a pic. Sars flamed him back and now, Alex, SS and BenJ have left the SQUAD to form the Wrecking Crew. A couple of the members have decided to sit the whole thing out till it settles down, which is quite reasonable. They are MoS and Havenbull.
This is what happened, plain and simple. It didn't happen due to ANY outside force like Heckler or Adonis or Bluto although each of them are trying their level best to take credit for this ::). The SQUAD is still here. Here's a list of who is still in the SQUAD (Thanks to Count for this effort):
The Squadfather aka Sarcasm - founder and still current leader of the SQUAD
Man of Steel (self imposed hiatus, but has said he's still with the SQUAD)
Dr Kaje
Havenbull
Showstoppa (hasn't posted in a while, but I know he's with Sarcasm and will always be in the SQUAD)
Count Grishnackh
Naughty by Nature
BigCypriate
John Matrix
kiwiol
There is no longer a distinction between Senior member and generation 2. The SQUAD is unified
now and all are melded together into one strong singular unit.

The bottom line is the biggest problem was the squad was letting people in after a few and far between funny jokes and it became to loose db2431 funny some times alex23 and there were 2 others who lasted a week....and i believe it bothered some squad members dan youre funnier than both those ass holes put together that in my eyes and other peoples eyes was the 1st mistake..

Part of this is very true and I'm saying this right here and now, without even consulting Sarcasm first. The following members have done NOTHING to justify or warrant their being a SQUAD member.

These guys need to make a decision. And the same goes for John Matrix as well. I know John enjoys the SQUAD's posts (most of them), but that alone isn't enough. If he doesn't post much and be 'active', then maybe he could be made an associate or something. As for the others, If they want to stay in the SQUAD, they'll need to post in the V at least once a month ;D so we all know they're still alive. I think Bast and Sniffy could be moved to associate status as well. Bossa is another guy who hasn't been around for months now. db2431 has been PMed and I await his reply.

No worries mate. I didn't mean what I said as a reproach or anything, but rather, that I'd like to see you post in the V more regularly like Sars or BF or BigC. I mainly was aiming to get you to post here more regularly and in the capacity of a SQUAD member.
You most certainly don't need to post in every thread - no one does that (apart from Bluto, who loves the V more than any other board in Getbig). But it would be good to see you more regularly.
Tell you what, we'll see what happens for a week and if you still feel the same way, we'll make you an associate - no hard feelings :)
