Not bad, but it looks too plain.

You need some creative sauces on top.  Perhaps a Butter and Bleu Cheese for the meat.

I`d also mash the potatoes with Heavy Cream with lots of Fresh Herbs.  Maybe even some mint.

Get Some Bobby Flay cookbooks or recipes.

i had one potato, it was topped with salad dressing and some tabasco sauce, mopped up with steak juice.   i also had salad, not pictured.  the steak was marinated for a day and very tender.  carry on

The lack of juices on that platter hints that he meat has been cooked to leather, but maybe your marinade saved it Billy.  Lean meat goes well with a satay sauce, if you're in the market.

TA - cheese sauce on steak?  That's a little weird.  I just don't see the flavours being complimentary.
