WAs the ship empty? I know it's in the middle of the cyclone but there looks like no sign of life either. Wonder if the ship was enroute to pickup people in the Med.

I would guess they made a major announcement for everyone to stay in their cabins as soon as they hit the cyclone..

I've had nightmares about that kinda shit since I was little, and I LOVE the ocean. Go figure.

I went on a cruise through the Carribean and we got caught in some "unusually strong cross currents" as we where told over the radio. I nearly got sick, the water on the shower floor was sloshing one way then the next every second, I was hung over like a bastard. I went to the top decks and saw puke all over the place. Some of the workers even got sick.
But I would not want to be on the ship in the clip you just posted that would really suck and, suck hard.

I went to Honolulu last week. So we were waiting to get on the plane and looking out the window. All these mechanics and official looking people are looking at the wing. We ended up taking off about 10 minutes late, no big deal. Well the flight attendant gets on the mic and apologizes for the delay. SO as we tae-off she say we are going to have heavy turbulence over Maui along with lightning. She then says if we noticed the mechanics looking at the wing, it was because lightning had hit it and wanted to make sure everything was okay. She said they said it was fine. Well you should have heard some of the people around me. The were so scared I thought they were going o try and take over the plane to turn us around. It was so funny. Then we got over Maui and the plane shook like shit and I looked over and all these 3 girls were under a blanket covered up. Anyway, I thought it was funny and the correlation between the two is what made me tell this story. Hope you enjoyed it and now back to our regular programming.

Exactly. A very good friend of mine was 2nd mate on a merchant ship for 32yrs and he has some awsome stories and footage of seas twice as bad as this.
