he sets the record straight on many things from pump is better then cumming to steroids I saw it on the new pumping iron dvd (they added some extra stuff for the 25th aniver.) at the extras but here it is

Arnold would do or say anything for a buck or fame.  Don't get me wrong, I think he's the greastest, but as a governor he's another liar politititian, and it shows from 1970.

Absolutely; anything he claims in that interview is questionable revisionist history, works to mislead some in the same way some of his claims about psyching opponents is largely unfounded but is still believed by many.

there was lots of extra footage shot for pumping iron wonder where it is some say he purchased it all

Likeable or not, he has very low believability.

He overpaid for the rights to all 100 hours or so, specifically to bury incriminating footage. Then recouped some of it with revenue from the "25th anniversary" DVD. I'd have liked to have seen more, good outtakes than what was chosen; no reason it couldn't have been 2 hours or more.
