he usually goes up to around 260 in the offseason at 5'8" but he looks alittle heavier,i would guess 270.either way it looks to heavy for him.

That is 100000% correct.  Like when you pay someone to go up on stage and take their shirt (thats all) and they tell you (in front of many others) they are to fat to go up on stage.

he's look a lot better if he actually got posing trunks that fit.  Leave the 3/4 cover for womens fitness

i disagree its the promoters responible to verify the condition of the athlete beforehand.  Nobody turns down money man its what separtes us from the animals we'll that and cutlery.  The promoter is a businessman and as such would have determined that he could sell more tickets or charge more for vendor licesences by having Johnnie there whether he looks like the marshmellow man or not.  Also he does have really small calves its rather freakish how small they are.

in some areas, there is one BBing show a year (like in my city).

The guest poser is pretty much the make/break whether people attend the show.

I would be very disappointed if I went to a show and the guy who placed 3rd in the lightweights was in better shape than the professional bodybuilder who sold 80% of the tickets.

i suppose so, I would be upset as well, but a quick look on the net will tell any promoter whether or not an athlete is in shape, a guy like darrim charles is always in sape, it sems to be the bigger guys that let themselves go during the offseason.

Johnie was scheduled to guest pose at a show in wisconisn on april 28th.  The promotor saw the pics here on getbig of one of his recent guest posings and immediately cancelled Johnie's appearance.  I dont believe these guys need to be in contest shape all year round, but they should not be guest posing looking like Johnie has recently.

yes another reason why super heavy weight probably isn't the best way to go when it comes to training calves....This guy obviously can't do anything light...And his calves pay the price...
