Hate the commercial gym by my house so I build a little home gym in the sun room. Plan to spend less and less time at the gym and more and more time training in underwear with all the blinds open facing the course and mooning the golfers..
Got a squat rack with a pulley
600lb of olympics
2 commercial benches, one flat and one incline/decline with preacher attachment (not ironman shit, paid 300 just for the bench)
Inversion table
Seated calf raise
Treadmill
-
not a bad set up..
Now let's see a picture of what's in your fridge.. ;D
-
Good shit. WTH's an inversion table? how much did it cost you altogether?

Allows you to tie your feet and flip upside down. Great for spine streching and abs Rocky style ;D

Alex,
You're a pimp bra. Nice set up, and your fridge is the shit. You're medicine cabinet top shelf on the door looks to be fully stocked with some good shit. Post more pics once all you equip arrives.

PS, Is your sunroom climate controlled? I was thinking about doing the same at my house, however mine is not. The FL humidity would just rust up my weights.
-
rich bastard ;D
very nice setup bro 8)
-
Sweet setup alex...what are you doing for heavy dumbells?
Do you have back problems, and does the inversion table really help?
-
Nice setup big man.
-
that is a sweet home gym for sure
-
I bought out a lot of equipment from a small gym that closed down in 2002. I put all the stuff in my garage. Unfortunately the climate in the northeast isn't conducive to training in a unheated garage in January. Nice set up Alex.

That's my next step bmacsys; just found one that closed down. He has Ivanko dumbells from 25 - 110 for peanuts. Pretty excited about it. Feel bad ripping off the guy, he really needs the money.
-

dumbells from 20-160
smith rack with plate loaded cable pulleys.

i'm really curious about the inversion table...you have back probs? does it help?

Yes I do and it really helps.
It hurts at first and makes you lightheaded but after 2-3 sessions of 5 mins ED, you feel hell of a difference.
It realigns and stretches very efficiently. Your spine has 2 long tendons that runs on each side. when pains starts showing, these 2 tendons become inflamed and loose their elasticity. The inversion table really helps relieving once you pass the initial pain.
Also, the bigger your head the better ;D

I'm gonna have to try it. I wonder if it takes the place of a chiropractor?
I slipped a disk more than two years ago and will have back problems forever. My chiro is a miracle worker, but I'm already stressed out about what to do when he retires.

Damn it you rich bastard, now I have to glass in my sunroom and cool it so I can have a Home gym to. Hey but isn't that what we went to college for was to make money and to spend it on BS. (Don't worry I got my retirement set up, I ain't trying to dye a poor man.)
-
We'll have to train together at ur crib next time I come down.

Alex23's gym is nice.
Metroflex is a dump (with the greatest respect to all who hold it highly and have trained there - it aint exactly comfortable).

That's a nice little home gym......I'm definitely jealous.......exactly what I'd love to have in my home.
