Who says Dorian has weak arms? They aside from his lats were his most impressive bodypart back then.

I'm sorry. Did I read that right?
Go smoke another bowl. ::)

They looked better there, the arms got beefier and in better balance but it took being heavier and smooth to do it. When in great shape at contest time, relative to the overwhelming torso & waist they didn't show up.

they look good...relative to you and me.
relative to another pro with good arms, they are mediocre at best.

yes but how many can even come remotely close to a Ronnie in top shape? 8)

Dude, we know Ronnie is good, cant anyone say a word without you shoving Ronnie up our asses?

that's not the point.
regardless of the topic, you always manage to throw in a coleman reference.
time to get over it.
he lost and will loose again this year.
the mystique is over.

Hulkster, can you manage to stay out of one Yates thread and not fuck it up ::)

hahaha The forever-angry Pubes with yet another completely useless & bitter "contribution".
Quite evidentally he has absolutely nothing to say, has to rely on others to trigger yet more attacks that remind of a rabid dog. ;D
-
no way in hell hes in 240's more like 200-215
-
WE NEED A THREAD THAT SHOWS RARE OR UNSEEN PICTURES. I AM TIRED OF SEEING THE SAME PICTURES OVER AND OVER AGAIN. AND YES I AM AWARE THE CAPS LOCK IS ON. I JUST DON'T CARE
-
fuck dorian. everybody knows he was a scientist who found secret nazi papers on genetic manipulation and adopted those theories along with Arthur Jones to formulate his rise in bbing. Only after Joe Weider bought those plans in 1991 did we see the real improvement with Dorian (who's real name is Francis and he's from Jersey City btw). Simple fact is without a steady intake of Shasta black cherry soda and tablewater crackers he would have deflated to a mere mortal.

In fact, he WAS in his high 240's in those pics. They were taken 2.5 months after his loss to MOMO Benaziza where he weighed in his high 220's. He claimed that he had gained 20 pounds since the competition (his highest weight up until that point). He would come back the following year and KILL the competition and take first place and then come in second to Lee Haney.
BTW, how and why would he have lost 25 pounds since his 1990 showing? That wouldn't make ANY sense. He was getting larger and larger dude as the months were passing by and by 1993 he EXPLODED.
-
dorian was listed at 235 pounds at the 1991 NOC where he killed the competition.
-
dont really matter what he was listed at hes not 240lbs in those pics thats stupid
-

Do you honestly think Ronnie will beat Jay this year?

Do you honestly think Ronnie will beat Jay this year?
not a chance.

Do you honestly think Ronnie will beat Jay this year?
No fucking way.... I think Jay first, Victor second, Ronnie third
-
not a chance.
Exactly ;D
Ben I concur with your placings.
-
He was in his high 240's there. What's ridiculous is your 200 pounds claim, when 2.5 months before these pics were taken, he weighed 229 pounds in competition against Momo Benaziza. He was gaining weigh in the off-season, NOT losing 25 pounds.

Whats amazing is how much he progressed in the subsequent 3 yrs. Dont forget, if I'm not mistaken, NOC was his first pro show, he took 2nd, and his following show was the O, where he took 2nd to Haney!
But the late Momo, one of the last two to beat him, actually goes one better, by winning his pro card at his very first show, the World Champs. And, unfortunately, die to win his last trophy. Momo was great, pity gone too early, RIP.

yate's said momo smoked him on back and that's what he felt he needed to step up to next level .

Actually Figo, after having placed second to Momo at the NOC in 1990, he didn't go straight to the 1991 Mr. Olympia. You are forgetting that he took first place in 1991 at the NOC before the 1991 Mr. Olympia.

Actually his first show was the 1984 Mr. Birmingham Novice, he was around 180. you also obviously have never lifted a weight in your life, Hope this helps. 8)
-
Actually his 1st show was in his backyard comparing poses with buddies from gym, there was quite a few neighbors there, he won at 165lbs, 1st prize was a round of Guiness, I believe...
-
yates was 210 at the 1988 british championships when he won his pro card
-

I love Ronnie and all but his ass will be finished off this year. 8)
-
Yeah, he was just shy of 250 in those 3 pics I posted and according to him, it was his largest weight up until that point. Little did he know that he would be competing 3 years later at a much higher bodyweight than his then largest OFF-season weight.
-
dont really matter what he was listed at hes not 240lbs in those pics thats stupid
Do you really believe the crap coming out of your mouth???
-
Thought this would be a good 10 year old post of mine to bump. 8)
