I didn't have sound, but many many people in Israel speak with American accents having been raised here and moved to Israel. It's not uncommon. Why would an American need to break his leg to avoid service? We don't have the draft at this time. There are a couple European countries that have mandatory service too. Germany, Finland and Sweden have maditory service... but American accents, it probably is Israel... Not that it matters, just guessing.

People sawed their trigger fingers off, or smashed their feet with hammers, to avoid being drafted for vietnam.
I mean, it does sound crazy, but seeing someone from your block coming home in a box each week, that would start to add up.

WW2 had it's critics too, and had you been around in that era I'm confident you would be counted amongst them.
Sacrifices must be made for either freedom or closed societies and tyrants will sacrifice you for them.
Society in this world still requires some to die for the freedom you and I enjoy.

Yeah the what if's like if hitler had taken over the USA really make a draft in ww2 necessary. I can only imagine what it'd be like if vietnam had controled the usa and all other western nations. ::)

When I was in basic for the Army my battle buddy was a pussy and he wanted me to break his hand by smashing my helmet on it...he had some real issues to say the least...
