I think leaving Iraq will send the message to Americans, that you care more about Americans than you do about killing innocent brown people based on lies, greed, & a desire for corporate profits.
As for the rest of the world, we already know there's a big difference between fighting for your life and fighting for your dinner.

I don't think that Al Qaeda terrorists comprise the majority of insurgents in Iraq--that's just Iraqis fighting the US and each other: shia, sunni, bathists, nationalists, basic criminals. It's a civil war over there. Not a battle between terrorists and the US on Iraq soil.

First of all - we never "invaded"...we were there to liberate Iraq from Saddam. Bush's gamble was that the country would unify and help us help themselves - they didn't and that's why Iraq (and Bush) is in the mess that it's in.
Bush will never recover from this - the Republican party will. The Dems - who the hell knows what they stand for. Clinton voted for the war "with complete conviction" based on HER research and HER inputs from Bill's intelligence info on Iraq - NOW...she blames it all on Bush. They'll lose again in '08.
