Title: As suspected - Diaz Vs Gomi ruled "No Contest"

Due to his failed drug test, the NSAC have stripped Diaz of what can be seen as one of his biggest career wins and ruled the bout a no contest. Hes also been fined 20% of his purse

Look for a rematch in the future

i am lost here. what drug came up on the test. regardless i don't think any drugs would have made much of a diff. it was a great fight for diaz

thanks. i can't see where weed would help the pain THAT much. i would be a downer if anything.

If anything, wouldnt being stoned limit your reaction speed in a fight? Ive never been stoned before so i dont know how exactly they can say it would help him

Definitely BS seems all the other fighters from Pride were not stripped of there win. Big Diaz fan, he'll fight anybody you put in front of him and he'll make it a fight.  He doesn't stall he works the entire time.  WAR DIAZ!

not saying this is the case...but...Nick did piss off Dana and the UFC when he went to pride and blabbed his mouth how the UFC sucked and underpaid...now the UFC owns pride so could have some bearing for payback!

its possible from what i understand dana white can be rough on a guy if he doesn't like you. its like its his way or the highway.

Nick Diaz said that he was pissed about the results and it was a one time thing..LOLOL. Him smoking weed for the first time in his 20's is about as beleiveable as Kamali placing top 5 in the olympia.  :o
