Is time different in the US?

This morning some cyber-schmoe promised a pic of his bent-rowing 315lbs within 15 minutes this morning.

I'm on Atlantic time (which doesn't change) but curious if 15 min in the US is 15 min here.

Someone please help.

JJ's 315 bent over rows (as he admitted months ago) went from free weight to smith machine and then he finally (like his photoshopped picture)  admitted it never happened---------------------
