We finally agree, this crap should never have seen the light of day.

However, I wish they would play the beheadings from Iraq so everyone would see it, it would stop a lot of the cry baby stuff about the torture in gitmo and let everyone see what our enemy is capable of.  Posing them in pictures really wouldn't look so bad anymore.

I think it shows bad taste to post those pics of him pointing guns and now this video?

That's the thing about the media, they are such whores.

Can you imagine some kid recovering from gunshots in the hospital turning on tv and seeing the guy that shot him pointing a gun at him on TV.  Horrid Taste NBC, horrid.  But CNN sure followed your lead.

Agreed.  Someone out there is fixated on the fact that he killed 32 in the 'deadliest shooting incident in American history', and intends to outdo him.

'deadliest shooting incident in American history',

here is another thing...if it is the deadliest shooting ( dosen't it seem we hear that every 3 yrs now  :-\ ) what are we gonna do about it?

nothing will be done..the iraq war will be our prime focus a month from now

yeah - that pic of the glock barrel close to the screen was too much.

ratings = money = their decision to air it.

The problem with a free society is this stuff can and will happen.
I do think they should begin to let professors tote heat, not students but professors should.

I agree. There have also been some other really bad newspaper pieces done regarding this story. One featured the supposed girlfriend he was infatuated having "sparked" the spree. Really tacky journalism.

It would be interesting to run personality tests on the top newspeople in the media today to see how many of them might have personality disorders of their own considering how few things seem to be sacred these days.

I don't have a problem with them showing it.

Whatever copycat losers that are out there would try regardless of whether there was a video or not.

Do you think there is a 1% chance that seeing this kid get primetime tv coverage looking like a little punk badass will make another kid want to do it?

If there is any chance that *giving the shooter what he wanted* will motivate more shooters, it's bad.
If there is any chance that *giving this kid the gangsta cred* he sought will make more want to do it, it's bad.

Like many others I can't understand why the media is discussing the kid in a sympathetic manner....He was a loser; people and teachers tried to get him to come out of his shell and he would just stay shut in; now most of the other LOSERS out there see him in all his glory and now know that this could be the perfect ending for them too....Seeing as how much attention he is finally getting and how it will finally make people feel sorry for them and notice them...Fuck that!!! The kid was a loser plain and simple and wanted people to notice him and got exactly what he wanted from the damn media.... >:(

You have a point.

I guess I'm selfish in that I wanted to see it and did.
