I am asking this because I wear "baggy" clothes and women always say I look fat in them.
So I'll be shopping with 3 women this afternoon and I know they will try to get me buy those fucking tight shirts and t-shirts ( I hate it cause it is fucking tight everywhere and always very loose around the waist to you look like a skinny-fat dude )
speak on this motherfuckers
ps: I won't pay 400$ for a pair of jeans so you can stay off the thread jaejonna >:( ;D

right now im wearing bright orange much music pants and a blue nautica shirt
-
V neck tees, jeans and flip flops are the only way to roll
-
Just go down to the Papineau area--they have all of the cut-off jean shorts, leather caps, and shirts to knot above your navel, that you could want.
But seriously... getting something that fits doesn't have to mean that it has to be tight. Just talk to a salesperson at Mexx, America, Benneton, and they'll give you good advice on what fits. If it contradicts what your friends say, too bad for them!

I absolutly love the shirts at Mexx
I used to buy a lot of those when I was in high school but I went there last week and the XXXL were to small !
and because it was XXXL the bottom of the shirt was made for a guy with a 38 inches waist
I am freaking 200 pounds ! I should be wearing L or XL at most
I think it is because of the "metrosexual" style and since most of the male population of 18-20 years old weights a fat 160 lbs they make their clothes way too small
-
go for the short sleeved button up shirts at Old Navy ;)
-
basketball shorts and a local band t-shirt.
I miss dressing up for a real job. Only time I even shave is when my band is playing a show.
-
Black crotchless lacy panties and fishnets stockings, that is all.
ta ta

Haha I have a bit of that problem, there! At Mexx, a few years back, I wanted to get a great pair of pants that were massively on sale. The problem was, they only had up to a 38" waist... which would be fine, because I wear a 32". BUT, I could barely get this supposed pair of 38" waist pants past my knees! It was probably really a 28"... the sizing there, and an a lot of other stores like it, is totally fucked. (The last pair of pants I bought there were supposedly 36" and they fit fine, so their sizing isn't even consistent.)

Its same psycological reason as the man who want his girl friend to wear tight booty clothes.
They want to get to be horny with looking at you.
If you are in shape,enjoy.

More inspiration.

Right now you want to go with Ed Hardy for shirts and jeans go with Diesel or True Religion. Montreal has great shopping so you shouldn't have a problem finding these three. For shoes go with Lacoste.
Loose the baggy clothes, absolutley not fashionable at all. xxxxl cool if you are 14 and from the ghetto, being from Montreal you have to know how to dress.

Congrats on the condo! I bought my first home last year and left everything to my girl and her brother who is gay and an interior decorator. Needless to say get yourself a hot girl who knows decorating. But to do so, you must first get some cool outfits. haha

alright ditch the baggy clothes and go for some wranglers. tops of 40-50 bucks a pair. they're tight blue jeans and the girls love it combine it with a wife beater tank top and your showing off a good build as well. they some might scream farm boy at ya but come on man everybody knows ladies love country boys. trust me it works. well for me anyhow.

Wranglers?? Yuck!! Sorry man, not in Montreal. I don't know what kind or girls you pick up, but they can't be very attractive.

wtf? is montreal the fashion capital of the world?
give me a break.
...
agreed, though, no on the wranglers.
just rock some levis and some nice tee shirts or button ups/dress shirts. put on a pair of sneakers and you're money. nothing fancy, nothing metrosexual. classic.

What's wrong with it if you got muscles that you want others to see? Buy shirts that are tight or close to it, but still comfortable.

NO ONE wears Wranglers here. There's a certain style here, may not be "better" than anywhere else at all, but Levis and sneakers etc.--no one who's dressing halfway decent dresses like that here. This isn't Charlotte or Albany. (Unless by sneakers you include Lacoste, Puma, or other dressier sneakers...)
-
just shop at a big and tall store then you can be a medium ;D but for real at least there you can find clothes that are going to be loose and comfy and still look nice
-
v-necks are a crowd pleaser....not too tight tho bc u end up looking like a fruit =)

i live in manhattan, a city many consider much more fashion forward than montreal.
i get by on levis and sneakers all the time. i see it everywhere in the city as well. (i usually rock adidas or pumas, however. never thought they were "dressier shoes.")
true, you have some guys who drop $300 on seven jeans, but few chicks i know who are into straight men really give a fuck, let alone mark anyone down for wearing a $45 pir of levis.
i've never been, but i find it a little odd, that you canucks think there's a certain level of dress that suit montreal standards. it's fucking canada, for crying out loud!

Montreal and Toronto are nice cities with good fashion sense. If you are from "The City" head over to Pacha or Webster Hall and that is where you will find what people here dress like.
JP for the win

haha ok so I couldn't find anything I wanted exept a very simple tommy hilfiger t-shirt and 2 pair of jeans but the girl who sold them to me gave me her number and she was fucking hot so it was still a nice day :)

Boo on the Tommy, shits 90's man. Ed Hardy, look for it.
Good job man on the number. If she was hot enough maybe it was worth it to buy a Tommy H shirt.

I visit Manhattan every summer (and have for the past 7 years--it's my favorite city), and I can tell you without a doubt that the "average" guy in Montreal dresses a million time better than the average guy in NYC. No contest. You have many, many more wealthy folks, though, so there are considerably more extremely well-dressed dudes walking around in NYC.
Have also visited Paris, Rome, London, etc. numerous times. A case can be made for any of these cities being more fashion forward than Montreal, and I suppose that on the high end New York smokes Montreal, but on average, again, there's no contest.
As for Canada--we're not like the rest of Canada, here. I was born and raised here, and I don't identify with Canada at all... so say what you want.

Very true. It's because there is European influence.

I wear dress clothes for work, and to go out in. only difference is i wear shirts without pockets, and untucked when i go out. Clothes like 'hollister' and sneakers are for high schoolers. Athletic clothes at home and gym.

I find these comfortable and fitting since my delts outsize my arms right now. If I had bigger arms I would wear different shirts.

Fitted, and no queer tight clothes.
