Title: meal replacement can they actually replace meals
Post by: smoothasf on April 22, 2007, 09:43:08 AM
i've just purchased 2 months of meal replacement shakes, im going on holiday in 12weeks and want to cut up, can i skip meals and just drink these every 3 hours instead or is this unhealthy.
other alternative i was thinking a shake for breakfast
chicken breast, tuna, ect with veg for lunch and shakes rest of the day.

I heard tito doesnt eat anything except these when he trains,
Question is will this cut me up, will it be healthy for 8 weeks?

Don't do this.  It's a meal replacement SUPPLEMENT.  You want less liquid meals if you're trying to diet and more whole food to keep you full.  If you have a shake, eat some vegetables with it to make it a bit more filling.

At most, use once per day for convenience reasons.  When in doubt, use real food.
