If anyone shares Bluto's view on our apparent inability to moderate this board then please feel free to post your feelings here. Im sure we will analyse the remarks from the members and decide whats best from there. Bluto we know your feelings so no need to make a statement since you flood other threads with your bitterness and "my 500 posts are legit dammit!" But im sure that wont stop you

The only problem i have is what Bluto mentioned(spoilers being allowed to remain in the title of a thread)..That is a very big problem and there is nothing more disappointing than seeing the results of a fight before you actually get a chance to watch it..

i think so the spoilers part is ok.the main problem is that why the fuck is diesel a mod of this board..he hardly even posts here.so i would suggest that getting rid of him and replacing him with americanbulldog who regurlarly posts here and has vast knowledge about this sport..his posts are pretty interesting

spoilers are fine, but spoilers in the header/title are absotively not ok..

spoilers are not fine. not unless you know theyre coming. spoilers is reason enough for lifetime ban on sherdog and other boards. thats how annoying it is. it's the #1 single worst thing that can happen to a board like this. thats like going to the movies to see a who dunnit thriller you've waited for 6 months to see, and on your way in you bump into the crowd who just saw it and they say loud and clear "great movie, i couldnt believe it was his father who was the killer!"

Then this is where we disagree..If there is a thread with the title "Spoilers"(without giving away or hinting any results) it does not bother me..In fact, it is great for people who just want to get the fight results before they actually watch the fight(or maybe they missed that fight)..However,as I've said,if the threads' title gives away the fight results, I am totally agreeing that is a HUGE problem(and extremely annoying)..Why would you care if there is a "spoiler' thread which does not contain any results/hints in the title..As long as you don't enter and read the thread, you won't see the results..

posting results, discussing the fight etc is cool as long as its clear thats what's going on.
but coming here to see XXX KNOCKED XXX THE FUCK OUT! and have that subject line be on for 3-4 days isnt cool. and that's what happend and thats what pissed me off. and stuff like that happend many times before
i feel the mods have not punished those who did it in the past, they clearly didnt do anything to this particular thread (until i made a big deal about it by complaining) and they havent really made it clear that posting spoilers isnt ok.

as for the mods. if 4 mods cant delete a spoiler thread thats up for 3-4 days then clearly they need some assistance. 'mowser has no problem with me being a mod so ill happy to do it
mindspin is more of a passive mod (just the way ron is on a lot of boards), diesel1 doesnt do all that much modding as far as i know. so the number of active mods isnt as many as it may look at first.

Just sticky a General guideline sticky, call it: "IMPORTANT!!! DON'T POST SPOILERS IN TOPIC AND OTHER RULES!!!! And have less stickys, so it will be read.
And one sticky for ALL kinds of links, eg documentaries, fights et al. The rest of the stickies: unsticky them IMO.

Spoilers has been a problem for 6+ months. To the degree that it's virtually impossible to come here when Pride or UFC is on, without having someone ruining it.
So yes it IS a problem, as others has posted in this very thread. If it wasn't, we wouldn't mention it.
