Take a typically built 180lb man. How much of this weight is above/below the waist?

arnold must've been 80/20 though ;)
most people that wanna gain weight could add quite a few pounds on their lower body if they started working their legs more seriously.
myself i think its pretty evenly distributed but then my upper body and lower are about the same length, some people have longer lower bodies for example

i think i'd actually fit into that category. and i'd have to say for me its 55%upper 45% lower. but as bluto said if you take leg training more seriously there's a lot of potential for weight there.
