-
he looks great, but isn't he going to look small against most guys onstage?

no, he placed 8th in his pro debut by coming in to heavy
at the USA, he should have won the overall against Phil Heat IMO
if he comes in shredded, he will be fighting for a top 5 spot with Dave Henry and Brian Chamberland !
-
Man o man I wish Bodybuilding would steer away from the massgame and go back to small waist and good condition.
-
holy shit...why havn't i ever heard of this guy before?
he looks amazing...i can't even see one weak bodypart from those pictures...perhaps some more thickness in his pecs
he looks like a midget though, please don't tell me he's like 5'4...lmao
-
yeah he is 5'5 or something like this
he still have a great physique
USA lightheavy weight winner in 2005

You really think his pecs are to small? I think they are just right

If Fakhri was 230+lbs in that condition and a bit taller then that is what a Mr. Olympia looks like. I heard in a Muscleradio interview that in that conpetition (above photos) he actually thought he was "off" and wasn't going to compete. ??? He looked amazing
-
I met this guy at the Olympia Expo. Very nice guy. He owns a supplement company called Advanced Health Nutrition.
I used his fatburner called Chizel...good stuff!

With the other guys that are going to be at the NY he won't make the top 5 unless most of those guys come in off...He will get lost in the top 10...
-
who cares.
like you are one to talk, you are a fucking french ::)
-
anyone have pics from his pro debut?

Fakhri won his procard in the shadows of Phil Heath. People are sleepin on this guy... He is a definate force to be reckoned with. He has an amazing physique and a bright future in the sport. I wish him the best

Of course, but it's good to see someone not playing the size game. We all saw what happened to Coleman at the Olympia last year with his "size game" right Rob?

THANK YOU!!!!

I don't mean he should blow up 30 pounds in a year. I'm just saying that phil heath is gonna dwarf him. I cannot imagine what a Vic or DJ will look like next to him.

I agree with you Rob...Thats the reason I said he will get lost in the top 10 at the NY...

Rob making comparisons like that dude is not fair and you know that. This dude is just entering the bigger shows. It's like comparing Phil Heath to Jay Cutler? Obviously the great white Jay would dwarf him with his size.
-
Wow, forgot about him. Amazing conditioning, and does not look to have any flaws. Against David Henry, he would beat Henry in my opinion, and this due to having better legs.

eh??

he's the new Ahmad Haidar, and i mean that in a good way. great physique.

I am a big fan of Phil but he doesnt "dwarf" anybody
I am telling you, check the pics from the USA and he should have lost the overall to Fakhri

dexter earned his pro card as, i believe, a bantamweight. he's gained nearly 100 on-stage pounds since he came on. it can be done and it can be done well, the problem is guys who try to slam 40 pounds on for their first pro show after winning the card.

Actually, he was in the 180's or so when he went pro...he was a middleweight/light heavy[?]

Stavios - I think that is a fallacy to say a pro needs to make all sorts of improvements beyond their pro card winning form. I think all any given newly turned pro needs to do is add a few refinements.
-
absolutly Matt, he doesn't need anymore muscle
maybe 3-5 lbs on his chest, shoulders and arms but that's it !
he has a great physique
-
ya imo he shouldnt play size game. just worl on quality and symmetry. He will do fine

I think if we look back, there are many pros whose best performances were when they turned pro. Chris Cook, King Kamali, and Mat Duval come to mind. I doubt they are the only ones either.

I was never impressed with Cook and I knew exactly how he was going to turn out...He was just getting way to much hype for a not so impressive body...Another pre-pro that is getting alot of hype that if he ever gets his procard won't turn out very well as a pro is Trey Brewer...The guy has amazing size for his age, but his body has horrible flow and when he gets bigger he most likely won't be able to keep it together at all....Kamali looked great when he turned pro, Desmond Miller looked great last year and I think he will start going downhill too after this year, we will see if Matt can bring it together this year-from recent photos he looks like he is doing better....
-
I think Matt Duval looks great
he only needs to come in super sharp
his injuries aren't that bad
-
he's a midget and he's gonna look smaller with the rest of em all on stage
-
fahkri has one of the sickest builds in the sport....however he is not doing the ny pro
